PERSEPSI PENGUNJUNG TERHADAP KAWASAN WISATA DANAU KERINCI DI KABUPATEN KERINCI PROVINS! JAMBI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pengunjung pada obyek wisata Danau Kerinci, persepsi pengunjung terhadap atraksi, fasilitas, dan pelayanan yang terdapat di obyek wisata Danau Kerinci, perbedaan persepsi pengunjung pada beberapa obyek wisata Danau Kerinci dan mengetahui hubungan karakteristik pengunjung terhadap persepsi pengunjung.
Metode penentuan sampel menggunakan Rumus Slavin dan teknik sampling menggunakan metode accidental sampling sedangkan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala Likert pada sampel sejumlah 100 dari populasi ( 4567) pengunjung selama bulan maret 2003, batas ketelitian yang diinginkan sebesar 10 %. Pengujian alat ukur menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi produck moment pearson dan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis chi kuadrat (X2) dan koefisien kontingensi (C).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan masing-masing (50 %), kelompok umur 15 sampai 24 tahun (77 %) yang mendominasi kunjungan ke obyek ini, SMA (64 %) mernpakan tingkat pendidikan yang mendominasi kunjungan ke obyek wisata ini, pelajar (49 %) mernpakan pekerjaan responden yang mendominasi kunjungan ke obyek wisata ini, daerah asal (79 % ) sebagian besar berasal dari daerah sekitar Danau Kerinci dan 50 % responden berpengbasilan
The aim of this research is to know tourist characteristic, tourist perception to attraction, facilities, and service in tourism object oflake Kerinci, difference of tourist perception in third place of lake Kerinci and correlation between tourist characteristic and tourist perception. Sampling determination method use Slovin Fmmula and sampling technique use method of accidental sampling while collecting method use kuisioner with scale of Likert at I 00 sampel from tourist population of 4567 on march 2003 with wanted correctness boundary equal to 10 %. Measuring instrument test use technique analyse correlation pearson of produck moment and to hypothesis test use technique analyse chi square ( X2) and coefficient of kontingensi ( C). Result of research show tourist that male and female each 50 %, age level 15 until 24 year (77 %) are dominated visit to tourism area of Lake Kerinci, SMA (64 %) represent education level are dominated visit to tourism area of Lake Kerinci, student (49 %) occupation of tourist on Lake Kerinci, tourist area most corning from area of around Lake Kerinci with percentage 79 % and 50 % tourist have production under Rp. 150.000. Tourist perception to attraction including very low category (4 %), low category (28 %), high category (44 %) and very high category (24 %) and tourist perception to attraction by totally including into good classification, tourist perception to facilities including very low category (2 %), low category (39 %), high category (51 %) and very high category (8 %) and tourist perception to facilities by totally including into good classification, tourist perception to services including very low category (4 %), low category (34 %), high category (54 %) and very high category (8 %) and tourist perception to services by totally 2 including into good classification, . From chi s????uare test X2 count: 14.687 and Xtable (df: 6, u: 0.05): 12.592. Meaning, X count> X2 table. So, there are significant difference of tourist perception at third accurate object and no good correlation between tourist characteristic and tourist perception.
