PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI TUGAS AKHIR BERBASIS WEB PROGRAM STUDI TRPL SV UGM

Tugas Akhir (TA) atau Proyek Akhir (PA) merupakan salah satu syarat untuk kelulusan dan mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Terapan (S.Tr.) dalam prodi D4 Teknologi Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (TRPL) SV UGM. Salah satu tanggung jawab akademik yaitu memproses data proyek akhir dan kelulusan mahasiswa. Mulai dari pendaftaran tugas akhir sampai pengumpulan laporan proyek akhir. Proses tersebut sudah ada pada Sistem Simaster sekarang ini, akan tetapi ada beberapa fitur yang belum ada seperti fitur pengajuan tugas akhir dari proyek dosen. Proses pengajuan tersebut harus dilakukan di luar sistem dengan menggunakan google form sehingga pihak akademik butuh waktu untuk membuat form di setiap periode pendaftaran tugas akhir. Mahasiswa yang sudah dinyatakan lulus sidang harus membuat lembar tanda tangan persetujuan penguji sendiri serta pengumpulan laporan proyek akhir belum ada di sistem tersebut. Berdasarkan permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut, maka pengembangan sistem perlu untuk dilakukan untuk membantu dan mempermudah mengelola pendaftaran proyek akhir hingga pengumpulan laporannya. Pengembangan bisa membantu pihak Akademik, Dosen, dan Mahasiswa untuk proses proyek akhir sampai pengumpulan laporan. Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Tugas Akhir ini dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Codeigniter, dan database MySQL. Pengujian sistem dilakukan secara manual dengan mencoba langsung dan juga melalui automation testing dengan tool bernama selenium. Hasil pengujian secara manual sudah sesuai dengan input output penggua dan bisa digunakan dalam mengelola pendaftaran proyek akhir hingga pengumpulan laporan akhir yang sudah disahkan. Pengujian dengan selenium pada halaman akademik/kaprodi, dosen dan mahasiswa menunjukkan berhasil dan tidak ada bug sistem.

This process already exists in the Simaster System now, however there are several features that are not yet available, such as the feature for submitting final assignments from lecturer projects. The submission process must be carried out outside the system by using the Google form so that academics need time to make the form in each final assignment registration period. Students who have been declared to have passed the trial must make their own signature sheet of approval for the examiner and the submission of the final project report is not yet in the system. Based on these problems, it is necessary to develop a system to help and make it easier to manage the registration of the final project to the collection of reports. Development can help Academics, Lecturers, and Students for the final project process up to report submission. The development of this Final Project Information System was built using the PHP programming language, Codeigniter framework, and MySQL database. System testing is done manually by trying directly and also through automation testing with a tool called Selenium. The manual test results are in accordance with the user's input output and can be used in managing the registration of the final project until the submission of the final report that has been approved. Testing with selenium on the academic/head of study program, lecturers and students' pages showed success and there were no system bugs.
