PENAMPILAN PRODUKSI KAMBING SAPERA DI DATARAN TINGGI KECAMATAN TURI, SLEMAN, YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penampilan produksi kambing Sapera di dataran tinggi Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan 30 ekor induk kambing Sapera laktasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2022 sampai Maret 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan 30 ekor kambing Sapera laktasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengambilan data di lapangan dan pengujian sampel di laboratorium. Pakan yang diberikan berupa kulit kacang hijau, kulit singkong, hijauan, dan konsentrat. Variabel yang diamati adalah penampilan produksi ternak, konsumsi nutrien, dan penampilan reproduksi. Data yang diperoleh ditabulasi kemudian dihitung rata-ratanya dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Kondisi lingkungan pada saat pengamatan selama penelitian didapatkan hasil pada pukul 08:00 memiliki temperatur 24,40+-1,10C dengan kelembaban 64,97+-2,93%; pada pukul 12:00 memiliki temperatur 25,99+-1,96C dengan kelembaban 61,26+-5,76%, dan pada pukul 16:00 memiliki temperatur 23,51+-1,21C dengan kelembaban 67,26+-2,86%. Thermal Humidity Index diperoleh hasil pada pukul 08:00 sebesar 22,69+-1,00, pada pukul 12:00 sebesar 23,95+-1,52, dan pada pukul 12:00 sebesar 21,97+-1,08. Nilai heat tolerance coefficient diperoleh hasil pada 07:00 sebesar 1,95+-0,18 dan pada 12:00 memiliki nilai HTC 2,44+-0,32. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata bobot badan kambing Sapera 48,06+-7,04 kg, panjang badan 65,47+-4,41 cm, lingkar dada 88,93+-4,43 cm, umur 3,84+-1,14 tahun, produksi susu 1,92+-0,96 liter/hari, dan masa laktasi 5,69+-4,11 bulan. Konsumsi BK sebesar 2663,94 g/ekor/hari, konsumsi PK sebesar 256,77 g BK/ekor/hari, konsumsi TDN sebesar 1403,99 g BK/ekor/hari, dan konsumsi SK sebesar 712,96 g BK/ekor/hari. Penampilan reproduksi dari ternak diperoleh hasil masa days open 254,64+-105,40 hari, litter size 1,67+-0,61 ekor, lama bunting 5,08+-0,08 bulan, dan kidding interval 13,3+-3,45 bulan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu kambing Sapera memiliki penampilan produksi ternak yang baik dan sesuai untuk dikembangbiakkan di dataran tinggi Yogyakarta.
This research was conducted to know the production
performance of Sapera goats in the highlands of Yogyakarta. This study used 30
lactating Sapera goats. This research was conducted from October 2022 to March
2023. This study used 30 lactating Sapera goats. The method used is data
collection in the field and sample testing in the laboratory. The feed given is
in the form of green bean skins, cassava skins, forages, and concentrates. The
variables observed were livestock production performance, feed consumption, and
reproductive performance. The data obtained was tabulated, and then the average
was calculated and analyzed descriptively. The environmental conditions at
the time of observation during the study showed that at 08:00, it had a
temperature of 24,40+-1,10C with humidity of 64,97+-2,93%; at 12.00, it had
a temperature of 25,99+-1,96C with humidity of 61,26+-5,76%, and at 16:00 it
has a temperature of 23,51+-1,21C with humidity of 67,26+-2,86%. THI
obtained results at 08:00 at 22,69+-1,00 at 12:00 at 23,95+-1,52, and at 12:00 at
21,9+-1,08. The heat tolerance coefficient value obtained at 07:00 was 1,95+-0,18 and at 12:00 it had an HTC value of 2,44+-0,32. The results showed that
the average body weight of Sapera goats was 48,06+-7,04 kg, body length 65,47+-4,41
cm, chest circumference 88,93+-4,43 cm, age 3,84+-1,14 years, milk production
1,92+-0,96 liters/day, and the lactation period is 5,69+-4,11 months. BK
consumption was 2663,94 g/head/day, PK consumption was 256,77 g head/head/day,
TDN consumption was 1403,99 g head/head/day, and SK consumption was 712,96 g
head/head/day. The reproductive performance of the livestock was obtained from days
open 254,64+-105,40

months, and kidding interval 13,3+-3,45 months. Conclusion Sapera goats have
good livestock production performances and are suitable for breeding in the
highlands of Yogyakarta.
