DESIGNING AN INFORMATION SYSTEM TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO COURSE MATERIALS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN YEMEN

Access to course materials is a critical aspect of quality education and
academic success for high school students. However, in conflict-affected regions
like Yemen, students face significant challenges in accessing these materials,
resulting in limited learning opportunities and hindered academic progress. This
research aims to address this issue by designing and evaluating the effectiveness of
the Iqrakafa system, an information system specifically developed to enhance
access to course materials for high school students in Yemen
Access to course materials is a critical aspect of quality education and

like Yemen, students face significant challenges in accessing these materials,
resulting in limited learning opportunities and hindered academic progress. This
research aims to address this issue by designing and evaluating the effectiveness of
the Iqrakafa system, an information system specifically developed to enhance
access to course materials for high school students in Yemen.
The research problem focuses on the limited availability of course
materials in conflict-affected regions, which negatively impacts students' learning
outcomes. The objectives of the study include designing and developing the
Iqrakafa system and evaluating its impact on improving access to course materials
for Yemeni high school students. The study adopts a user-centered design approach,
incorporating usability testing and feedback gathering from student participants.
The data collected is analyzed using descriptive statistics.
The research findings demonstrate that the Iqrakafa system effectively
enhances access to course materials for high school students in Yemen. The system
provides a centralized platform with a wide range of course materials, enabling
students to overcome barriers to education and improve their understanding of
subjects. The usability testing results indicate positive user experiences and
satisfaction with the system
