EVALUASI KEKUATAN SHORING PADA PELAKSANAAN ERECTION JEMBATAN KERETA API RANGKA PIPA BAJA SOLO BALAPAN – KADIPIRO KM 105+000 s/d KM 106+800

The traffic density at the Joglo Intersection, Surakarta City prompted the Ministry of Transportation to reorganize traffic at the seventh intersection. The planning for the construction of the railway bridge is expected to reduce traffic density at the intersection of seven. Therefore it is necessary to build a bridge as a railroad crossing on this section to reduce congestion. The Directorate General of Railways initiated a steel pipe frame railway bridge construction project.
The Steel Pipe Frame Bridge Construction Project between Solo Balapan – Kadipiro is located at the Joglo Intersection, Surakarta City. This project is located in a narrow area and a very dense area. In addition, beside the construction project there is a railroad as a railroad crossing that is still actively used. Therefore, this project requires consideration of erection methods that are suitable for steel pipe material with a diameter of 800 mm - 1200 mm. So in this study analyzed the erection method in the form of shoring that is suitable for use in the work. This research compares the strength of Heavy Duty Shoring with RO-RO Shoring System.
This shoring strength analysis uses SAP2000 software. The results of this strength analysis show that Heavy Duty Shoring received a maximum reaction of 89,565.85 kg exceeding the maximum capacity of 18,000 kg. While the RO-RO Shoring System received a maximum reaction of 35,745.58 kg less than the maximum capacity of 18,000 kg. While the RO-RO Shoring System receives a maximum reaction of 35,745.58 kg less than the maximum capacity of 60,000 kg. From the analysis, the SF (Safety Factor) value of Heavy Duty Shoring is 1.74 while the RO-RO Shoring System is 2.63. So that the RO-RO Shoring System with SF more than 2 is chosen as the erection method in the steel pipe frame railway bridge construction project between Solo Balapan - Kadipiro.
