PENGARUH UJI TOKSISITAS ORAL AKUT NEOBACT 200 WSP REGISTERED PADA BERAT BADAN, HEMATOLOGI, FUNGSI HATI DAN FUNGSI GINJAL AYAM BROILER

Neobact 200 WSP Registered merupakan sediaan antibiotik yang mengandung neomisin sulfat yang diproduksi oleh PT. Better Pharma CO., LTD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat keamanan obat dengan melakukan uji toksisitas akut secara oral pada Neobact 200 WSP Registered untuk mengetahui keamanannya dilihat melalui parameter berat badan, fungsi hati dan fungsi ginjal. Penelitian ini mengacu pada metode pengujian toksisitas oral akut OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) 223 (tahun 2016). Metode yang digunakan adalah limit dose test dengan dosis pemberian 2000 mg/kg BB. Sepuluh ekor ayam broiler umur 31 hari digunakan untuk penelitian ini. Hewan uji dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan dengan masing-masing lima ekor tiap kelompok. Kelompok kontrol diberikan akuades sebanyak 5 ml, sedangkan kelompok perlakuan diberikan obat Neobact 200 WSP Registered sesuai dosis. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan observasi ada tidaknya gejala toksik atau kematian dan pengolahan data dengan analisis statistik SPSS terhadap perubahan berat badan selama 14 hari, pemeriksaan hematologi, fungsi hati dan fungsi ginjal. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu Independent Sample T-Test ataupun Mann-Whitney U-Test. Hasil menunjukkan Neobact 200 WSP Registered aman untuk digunakan dan tidak menunjukkan efek toksik pada hewan kelompok perlakuan pada parameter berat badan, hematologi, fungsi hati dan fungsi ginjal.  

Neobact 200 WSP Registered is an antibiotic preparation containing neomycin sulfate produced by PT. Better Pharma CO., LTD. The purpose of this study was to see the safety of the drug by conducting an oral acute toxicity test on Neobact 200 WSP Registered to determine its safety seen through parameters of body weight, liver function and kidney function. This study refers to the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) 223 (in 2016) acute oral toxicity testing method.  The method used is a limit dose test with a dose of 2000 mg / kg body weight. Ten broilers aged 31 days were used for the study. The test animals were divided into two groups, a control group and a treatment group with five individuals each. The control group was given 5 ml of aquades, while the treatment group was given Neobact 200 WSP Registered according to the dose. Observation was carried out by observation of the presence or absence of toxic symptoms or death and data processing with statistical analysis of SPSS on changes in body weight for 14 days, hematological examination, liver function and kidney function. The analysis method used is Independent Sample T-Test or Mann-Whitney U-Test. Results showed Neobact 200 WSP Registered was safe to use and showed no toxic effects in treatment group animals on parameters of body weight, hematology, liver function and kidney function.
