Prarancangan Pabrik Controlled Release Fertilizer NPK Berbasis Nitrat dengan Kapasitas Produksi 20.000 Ton/Tahun

Controlled release fertilizer (CRF) merupakan salah satu produk pupuk pengembangan yang mampu mengendalikan kadar nutrient yang lepas sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman. Terdapat beberapa produk CRF, salah satunya adalah CRF NPK. Pupuk NPK merupakan jenis pupuk majemuk yang terdapat kandungan nitrogen, fosfor, dan kalium secara bersamaan. Salah satu produk unggulan dari pupuk NPK adalah pupuk NPK 16-16-16 berbasis nitrat karena memudahkan tanaman menyerap nutrient.

Pabrik controlled release fertilizer NPK berbasis nitrat dirancang dengan kapasitas produksi 20.000 ton/tahun produk CRF NPK. Selain itu, dihasilkan produk NPK konvensional berbasis nitrat dengan komposisi nutrient 16-16-16 sebanyak 80.000 ton/tahun. Pabrik ini beroperasi secara kontinu selama 24 jam per hari dalam 330 per tahun. Bahan baku utama yang dibutuhkan berupa ammonium nitrat sebanyak 26.972,1 ton/tahun, diammonium phosphate sebanyak 33.233,5 ton/tahun, KCl sebanyak 25.479,0 ton/tahun, serta dolomit sebanyak 9.861,7 ton/tahun. Proses pembuatan pupuk NPK dilakukan dengan sistem steam granulation yang dilengkapi dengan sistem drying, cooling, dan screening. Pembuatan CRF dilakukan dengan metode coating  polyurethane dengan rotary drum coater. 

Pabrik CRF NPK ini akan didirikan di Kawasan Industri Kujang Cikampek (KIKC), Karawang, Jawa Barat dengan luas 0,85 hektar dan memiliki karyawan sebanyak 210 orang. Kebutuhan energi untuk menjalankan pabrik meliputi air sebesar 40,7 ton/jam, penyedia udara instrument, udara pengering pada dryer dan cooler, udara pada boiler serta furnace sebanyak 148,6 ton/jam, dan listrik sebanyak 1,790 MW.

Produk CRF NPK dijual dengan harga Rp 19.500,00 per kg, sedangkan produk NPK konvensional dijual dengan harga Rp 12.500,00 per kg. Untuk menjalankan proses produksi, dibutuhkan modal tetap (fixed capital) sebesar $19.471.517,67 atau Rp292.156.492.531,84. Berdasarkan prosesnya, pabrik ini tergolong beresiko rendah. Nilai ROI sebelum pajak terhitung sebesar 40,77?n setelah pajak sebesar 30,58%. Nilai POT sebelum pajak sebesar 1,97 tahun dan setelah pajak sebesar 2,46 tahun. Nilai BEP sebesar 56,26%, SDP sebesar 42,96%, dan DCFRR sebesar 23,27 %. Berdasarkan nilai parameter kelayakan ekonomi tersebut, pabrik ini menarik dari segi ekonomi dan layak dikaji lebih lanjut. 

Controlled release fertilizer (CRF) is one of the advanced fertilizer products that can control the release of nutrients according to the needs of the plants. There are several CRF products, one of which is CRF NPK. NPK fertilizer is a type of compound fertilizer that contains nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium simultaneously. One of the leading products of NPK fertilizer is NPK 16-16-16 based on nitrate, as it facilitates nutrient absorption by plants.

The factory is designed to produce a capacity of 20,000 tons per year of CRF NPK products. Additionally, 80,000 tons per year of conventional NPK products with a nutrient composition of 16-16-16 are also produced. The factory operates continuously for 24 hours a day, 330 days per year. The main raw materials required include 26,972.1 tons per year of ammonium nitrate, 33,233.5 tons per year of diammonium phosphate, 25,479.0 tons per year of KCl, and 9,861.7 tons per year of dolomite. The process of manufacturing NPK fertilizer is carried out using a steam granulation system equipped with drying, cooling, and screening systems. The production of CRF is done using a polyurethane coating method with a rotary drum coater.

This CRF NPK factory will be established in the Kujang Cikampek Industrial Zone (KIKC), Karawang, West Java, with an area of 0.85 hectares and will employ 210 people. The energy requirements for operating the factory include 40.7 tons/hour of water, instrument air supply, drying and cooling air for the dryer and cooler, air for the boiler and furnace amounting to 148.6 tons/hour, and electricity amounting to 1.790 MW.

CRF NPK products are sold at a price of Rp 19,500.00 per kg, while conventional NPK products are sold at a price of Rp 12,500.00 per kg. To carry out the production process, a fixed capital of $19,471,517.67 or Rp 292,156,492,531.84 is required. Based on its process, this factory is classified as low risk. The pre-tax ROI value is 40.77%, and post-tax ROI is 30.58%. The pre-tax POT value is 1.97 years, and post-tax POT is 2.46 years. The BEP value is 56.26%, SDP is 42.96%, and DCFRR is 23.27%. Based on these economic feasibility parameters, the factory is economically attractive and worthy of further study.
