Identifikasi Kondisi Mental pada Pasien Penderita Penyakit Fisik Berdasarkan Nilai Frekuensi Kanal Elektroensefalografi ketika Proses Psikoterapi Hypno Guided Imagery

Peningkatan jumlah penderita penyakit fisik meliputi obesitas, diabetes melitus, dan penyakit kardiovaskular terjadi akibat beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor kondisi mental dari suatu individu. Kondisi mental dipengaruhi oleh tingkat stres suatu individu, di mana keadaan stres dapat dikenali melalui beberapa gejala stres seperti depresi dan psikosomatis. Kondisi mental seperti kondisi depresi dan psikosomatis dapat di identifikasi melalui nilai frekuensi kanal elektroensefalografi ketika proses psikoterapi HGI.

Pada proses psikoterapi dibantu beberapa alat salah satunya adalah Elektroensefalografi (EEG). EEG adalah sebuah alat perekam aktivitas listrik yang dihasilkan oleh otak. Sinyal EEG dapat mengukur emosi berdasarkan perubahan gelombang otak. Gelombang otak yang menujukkan ketenangan dan kebahagiaan adalah gelombang teta. Pada proses pengolahan data EEG, Data masukan diubah menjadi nilai frekuensi kanal berupa nilai Power Spectral Density (PSD) pada masing-masing gelombang otak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dibuat penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi mental pasien penderita penyakit fisik dengan data EEG menggunakan nilai PSD pada gelombang teta.

Pada penelitian ini digunakan 10 sampel, meliputi 4 sampel penderita obesitas, 3 sampel penderita penyakit kardiovaskular, dan 3 sampel penderita diabetes melitus. Pada pasien penderita obesitas dan penderita diabetes melitus didapatkan kondisi mental depresi, sedangkan pada pasien penderita penyakit kardiovaskular didapatkan kondisi mental psikosomatis. Keberhasilan psikoterapi Hypno Guided Imagery (HGI) untuk memperbaiki masalah psikologis pada pasien penderita penyakit fisik adalah 60%.

The increase in the number of people with physical ailments including obesity, diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular disease occurs due to several factors, one of which is the mental condition of an individual. Mental conditions are influenced by the stress level of an individual, where stress can be identified through several symptoms of stress such as depression and psychosomatics. Mental conditions such as depressive and psychosomatic conditions can be identified through the electroencephalographic channel frequency values during the HGI psychotherapy process.

In the process of psychotherapy assisted by several tools, one of which is Electroencephalography (EEG). EEG is a device that records electrical activity produced by the brain. EEG signals can measure emotions based on changes in brain waves. The brain waves that show calm and happiness are theta waves. In the EEG data processing, the input data is converted into channel frequency values in the form of Power Spectral Density (PSD) values for each brain wave. Based on this, a study was made to identify the mental condition of patients with physical ailments with EEG data using PSD values on theta waves.

In this study, 10 samples were used, including 4 samples of obese patients, 3 samples of cardiovascular disease patients, and 3 samples of diabetes mellitus patients. In patients with obesity and diabetes mellitus, the mental condition is depressed, whereas in patients with cardiovascular disease, the mental condition is psychosomatic. The success of Hypno Guided Imagery (HGI) psychotherapy to improve psychological problems in patients with physical ailments is 60%.
