DAMPAK JALUR HIJAU TERHADAP KONDISI INFRASTRUKTUR DI TIGA JALAN ARTERI SEKUNDER KOTA SEMARANG

Jalan Ahmad Yani, Pahlawan dan Pandanaran merupakan jalan arteri sekunder dengan jalur hijau tepi jalan yang terletak di pusat Kota Semarang. Keberadaan jalur hijau di ketiga jalan tersebut pada dasarnya memiliki berbagai manfaat, namun dalam implementasinya juga menimbulkan dampak negatif dimana pohon yang ditanam dapat merusak atau mengganggu trotoar, jalan, dan sistem kabel yang ada di sekitarnya. Berdasarkan situasi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak negatif dan positif keberadaan pohon terhadap infrastruktur kota di ketiga jalan tersebut. 

Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan survey pohon di ketiga jalan yang diteliti. Setiap individu pohon diinventarisasi, dinilai tingkat gangguannya terhadap trotoar/jalan dan sistem kabel dan menilai manfaat setiap spesies yang ditemukan. Analisis kemudian dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai indeks kerusakan dan manfaat setiap spesies pohon yang diinventarisasi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 14 spesies pohon dengan jumlah total individu sebesar 520 pohon. Selain Jalan Pahlawan, sebagian besar pohon yang ditanam sudah terkena tindakan vandalisme. Adapun untuk penilaian indeks kerusakan, Swietenia macrophylla, Samanea saman, dan Tamarindus indica merupakan 3 spesies pohon dengan nilai indeks kerusakan tertinggi. Selanjutnya, untuk penilaian fungsi dan estetika pohon setiap sisi jalan mendapatkan rentang nilai sedang-sangat baik. 

Ahmad Yani, Pahlawan and Pandanaran Streets are secondary arterial roads equipped with green line road sides in the center of Semarang City. Fundamentally, green line presence on the side of the road has various benefits, however its implementation also has some negative impacts wherein the planted trees could damage or interfere with sidewalks, roads and wiring system on their vicinity. Therefore, this study aims to identify the negative and positive impacts of the presence of trees to city infrastructure on the three streets. 

Data collection was done by surveying trees on the three studied streets. Each individual tree was inventoried, assessed by its level of interference towards footpaths/roads and cable systems, and assessed by the benefits of each species found. The analysis was then carried out by calculating the damage index and benefit of each inventoried tree species.

The results showed that there are 14 tree species with a total number of 520 individual trees. Other than Pahlawan street, most of the trees planted have already been exposed to acts of vandalism. As for the damage index assessment, Swietenia macrophylla, Samanea saman and Tamarindus indica are the 3 species with the highest damage index score. Furthermore, the functional and aesthetic assessment of the tree on each side of the streets gets a range of medium to excellent grades.
