Sektor parwisata merupakan sektor yang dapat memulihkan perekonomian di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta yang dikenal sebagai "Kota Budaya" ini tidak lepas dari aktifitas wisata berbasis budaya yang terpusat di Keraton Yogyakarta. Pengembangan pariwisata khususnya pariwisata budaya juga dapat dikembangkan di daerah lainnya. Salah satu daerah yangb memiliki potensi wisata budaya adalah Kampung Wisata Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo dengan keunggulan aktifitas Jemparingan dan Industri Lokal, yang kemudian dapat dikembangkan menjadi paket wisata tematik budaya, yang didalamnya terdapat potensi budaya yang ada di kampung tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi potensi wisata budaya yang ada di Kampung Wisata Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo yang kemudian disusun kedalam paket wisata dengan konsep pariwisata tematik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-structured, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini berupa data informasi potensi wisata budaya di Kampung Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo dan rekomendasi paket wisata dengan konsep pariwisata tematik di Kampung Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo yaitu Paket One Day Tour, Two Days Tour dan Special Interest Tour.

The tourism sector is a sector that can restore the economy in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which is known as the "City of Culture", cannot be separated from cultural-based tourism activities centered at the Yogyakarta Palace. Tourism development, especially cultural tourism, can also be developed in other areas. One area that has the potential for cultural tourism is Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo Tourism Village with the advabtages of Jemparingan and Local Industries activities, which can be developed into cultural thematic tour packages in which there is cultural potential in the village. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential for cultural tourism in Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo Tourism Village which is compiled into tour packages with thematic tourism concept. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this study are in the form of information on potential cultural tourism in Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo Tourism Village and recommendations for tour packages with thematic tourism concepts in Sekar Niti Gedongkiwo Tourism Village, namely One Day Tour Packages, Two Days Tour, and Special Interest Tour.
