Based on observations made by researchers, there are problems that occur, namely medical devices to check vital signs at each health center in Sleman Regency are not proportional to the number of patients present. Besides that, separate medical devices make it very difficult for medical personnel to monitor regularly with a large number of patients. The purpose of this research is to design a portable tool that can monitor automatically by measuring vital signs. The design of this tool uses ESP32, a GSM module to transmit data obtained on firebase and kodular applications and the measurement results will also be displayed on an I2C 20 x 4 LCD. This tool uses MAX30100 sensors, MLX90614 and MPX5700AP and GPS sensors.
The method used is to test each sensor with measurement standards in the form of a tensimeter, oximeter and thermogun and apply them to elderly and adult respondents. The standard sphygmomanometer will be compared with the MPX5700 AP sensor by taking 10 systolic and diastolic points. The standard oximeter measurement will be compared with the MAX30100 sensor at 78 bpm, 74 bpm and 71 bpm for heart rate and 99 percent, 97 percent and 94 percent for oxygen saturation. The thermogun measuring standard will be compared with the MLX90614 sensor with points of 34.3 Celsius and 35.8 Celsius.
The highest accuracy results were obtained on the MAX30100 sensor which was 99.5 percent and the lowest accuracy was obtained on the MPX5700AP sensor which was 97.02 percent. Overall test results detected 5 people with hypertension and body temperature that was not within normal limits so that it would have an impact on heart health and were advised to immediately go to the nearest health service.
