Karakteristik Eksterior Sapi Bali Betina Di Kabupaten Sintang, Kalimantan Barat

Karakteristik eksterior merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi penampilan fisik ternak yang tampak dari luar dan produktivitas ternak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik eksterior Sapi Bali betina di Sintang, Kalimantan Barat.  Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 ekor Sapi Bali betina dewasa yang dipelihara secara intensif di kandang. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan bantuan komputer menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Karakteristik kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Sapi Bali betina  masih sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia, yaitu warna tubuh dominan coklat tua hingga merah bata, warna kaki hitam dengan putih batas tegas, warna pantat putih batas tidak tegas, warna kipas ekor hitam, warna muka coklat hingga putih, garis punggung tebal, dan arah tanduk dominan keatas. 

Exterior characteristics are one factor affecting the physical appearance of livestock that can be seen from the outside and livestock productivity. This study aims to determine the exterior characteristics of Bali cattle female in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The material used in this study was 30 adult Bali cattle that were reared intensively in stables. The research was conducted by direct observation and measurement methods on livestock. Data processing is done with the help of a computer using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Qualitative characteristics were analyzed using descriptive in the form of percentages. The results showed that Bali cattle are still in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard,namely the dominant body color is dark brown to brick red, the color of the legs is black with white clear boundaries, the color of the buttocks is white, the boundaries are not clear, the color of the fan tail is black, the color of the face is brown to white, the dorsal line is thick, and the direction of the horns is dominant upwards.
