Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis adalah penyakit virus yang sangat patogen padakucing, terutama kucing muda. Virus ini disebabkan oleh Feline Herpesvirus. Prevalensi suspek Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis pada kucing sangat bervariasi dan bergantung pada banyak faktor seperti umur, jenis kelamin, status vaksinasi dan penatalaksanaan. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 60-80% kucing yang diuji memiliki virus ini. Namun, prevalensi Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis mungkin lebih rendah pada kucing yang tinggal di rumah dan diisolasi dari kucing lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kejadian Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis pada kucing yang diambil di Klinik Departement Ilmu Penyakit Dalam (IPD) pada bulan Januari dan Februari 2023.

Bahan penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari diagnosis pasien kucing di Klinik Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam, Yogyakarta, Kerangka waktu pengambilan data adalah kasus yang terjadi pada bulan Januari dan Februari 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis data sekunder (ADS) . Data kasus Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis yang dikumpulkanberupa data tunggal yang dipisahkan dari bulan Januari dan Februari 2023 dalam format Excel.

Berdasarkan penelitian, 35 kucing telah terinfeksi Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis di Klinik IPD pada bulan Januari dan Februari 2023. Berdasarkan penelitian, terdapat 66,7% kucing muda yang terinfeksi FVR. Selain itu, kucing betina paling banyak terinfeksi FVR yaitu 51,4?n jantan yang terinfeksi 48,6%. Umur kucing yang terinfeksi FVR yang paling banyak terinfeksiadalah dari umur 2 bulan sampai umur 8 bulan. Persentase usia yang paling banyakterinfeksi adalah 66,7%. Selain itu, persentase kucing yang tidak divaksinasi adalah88,5%. Jenis kandang yang paling banyak terjangkit kucing adalah dalam ruanganyaitu 57,2%. Prevalensi kucing yang terinfeksi Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis di Klinik IPD dari bulan Januari sampai Februari 2023 adalah 25,4 %.

Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis is a viral disease that is highly pathogenic in cats, especially young cats. This virus is caused by Feline Herpesvirus.The prevalence of Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis in cats varies widely and depends on many factors such as age, sex, vaccination status and management. Some studies have shown that approximately 60-80% of cats tested have rhinos. However, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis prevalence may be lower in cats that live in homes and are isolated from othercats. The objective of this research is to determine the incident of Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis in cats which was taken at Clinic of Internal Disease Department, Yogyakarta in the month of January and February 2023.

The material for this research is secondary data from the diagnosis of cat patients from Clinic of Internal Disease Department, Yogyakarta, The data collection time frame is casesthat occurred from January and February 2023. This research method used is descriptive quantitative research method with secondary data analysis (ADS)approach. The Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis case data collected is in the form of single data which is separated from the month of January and February 2023 in Excel format.

Based on the study, 35 cats has been infected with Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis in Clinic of Internal Disease Department (IPD) in the month of January and February 2023. Based on the study, there were 66.7 % of young cats that are infected with FVR. Other than that, female cats are the mostly infected with FVR which is 51.4% and males that are infected is 48.6 %. Age of the cat infected with FVR that mostly infected is from 2 months till 8 months old. The percentage of mostly infected ageis 66.7%. In addition, the percentage of non-vaccinated cats is 88.5%. The type of housing that mostly the cats were infected is indoor which is 57.2%. The prevalenceof the cats getting infected by Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis in Clinic IPD, Yogyakarta from the month of January till February 2023 is 25.4 %.
