PERAN TURUNTANGAN BOJONEGORO DALAM PENDIDIKAN ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR (STUDI KASUS : PROGRAM SEKOLAH KAPTEN)

Saat ini perkembangan gerakan sosial cukup masif di Indonesia, terlebih ketika pandemi Covid-19 muncul. Gerakan sosial tersebut memiliki peran tersendiri dalam merespon permasalahan sosial yang ada di masyarakat akibat pandemi Covid-19, salah satunya masalah yang berkenaan dengan pendidikan. TurunTangan Bojonegoro sebagai gerakan sosial yang memiliki concern penuh pada persoalan pendidikan mencoba mendesain program yang berorientasi pada pengembangan pendidikan karakter pada anak sekolah dasar yang bernama “Sekolah Kapten”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan atau praktik program sekolah kapten yang dilakukan TurunTangan Bojonegoro dalam merespon permasalahan sosial serta peran apa saja yang telah dilakukan TurunTangan Bojonegoro. Dalam pembahasan ini penulis merujuk pada teori mobilisasi sumber daya dan teori peran untuk mengetahui sejauh mana gerakan TurunTangan Bojonegoro bergerak dan mengambil peran bagi kepentingan masyarakat terlebih dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya yang dimiliki. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, focus group discussion (diskusi kelompok terfokus), dan studi dokumentasi serta literatur dengan unit analisis pada Gerakan TurunTangan Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil yang tercermin dari implementasi program sekolah kapten yang telah berhasil memobilisasi sumberdaya yang ada hingga memiliki peran tersendiri bagi masyarakat sekitar. peran-peran tersebut diantaranya, sebagai inisiator, fundraiser, implementator, edukator, dan inspirator.

Currently, the development of social movements is quite massive in Indonesia, especially when the Covid-19 pandemic emerged. This social movement has its own role in responding to social problems that exist in society due to the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is a problem related to education. TurunTangan Bojonegoro as a social movement that is fully concerned with educational issues has tried to design a program oriented towards the development of character education for elementary school children called "School of the Captain". The purpose of this research is to find out how far the implementation or practice of the captain's school program has been carried out by TurunTangan Bojonegoro in responding to social problems and what roles have been carried out by TurunTangan Bojonegoro. In this discussion, the author refers to the theory of resource mobilization and role theory to find out how far the TurunTangan Bojonegoro movement has moved and taken a role for the benefit of society, especially by utilizing its resources. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach and data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation and literature studies with the unit of analysis on the Bojonegoro TurunTangan movement. This research obtained results which were reflected in the implementation of the captain's school program which had succeeded in mobilizing existing resources so that it had a separate role for the surrounding community. These roles include initiator, fundraiser, implementer, educator, and inspirer.
