Analisis Penerimaan Sistem Repositori Institusi (Studi Komparatif di Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Bali dan Perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar)

Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi merupakan unit pelaksana teknis yang menyediakan sumber-sumber informasi melalui koleksi yang dimiliki. Dalam memberdayakan koleksi, perpustakaan menyimpan karya ilmiah ke dalam sistem repositori institusi. Politeknik Negeri Bali dan Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar memiliki kebijakan bahwa dosen termasuk dalam pengguna repositori untuk keperluan jenjang profesi. Kedua institusi tersebut menggunakan EPrints sebagai sistem repositori, tetapi dengan usia penggunaan yang berbeda. Dengan melihat perbedaan usia penggunaan tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkomparasikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan sistem repositori di perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Bali dan perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner untuk memperoleh data. Teori TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) digunakan untuk mengukur penerimaan sistem repositori institusi dalam persepsi dosen. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan rumus slovin, sehingga didapatkan 80 sampel di Politeknik Negeri Bali dan 54 sampel di Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur model SEM (Structural Equation Model), dengan dukungan program SmartPLS untuk mengolah dan melakukan uji hipotesis dengan teknik bootstrap.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui pelatihan, sebagian besar dosen di Politeknik Negeri Bali belum merasakan kemudahan penggunaan repositori, berbeda dengan dosen di Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar yang justru merasakan kemudahan penggunaan repositori. Di Politeknik Negeri Bali faktor manfaat tidak memberi pengaruh terhadap niat menggunakan repositori, sedangkan di Politeknik Kesehatan denpasar faktor manfaat justru memberi pengaruh terhadap niat menggunakan repositori. Implikasi kebijakan sistem repositori di kedua institusi tersebut ditunjukkan melalui keperluan jenjang profesi, yang diperkuat dari norma subyektif yang memberi pengaruh terhadap manfaat yang dirasakan.

The university library is a technical implementation unit that provides information sources through its collection. In an effort to advance its collection, the library receives deposits of scientific papers into its institutional repository system. Bali State Polytechnic and Denpasar Health Polytechnic have a policy that lecturers are allowed users in the repository system for professional-level requirements. Both institutions use EPrints as a repository system, but have different start years of use. By looking at the difference in usage age, this study aims to compare the factors that influence the acceptance of the repository system in Bali State Polytechnic library and Denpasar Health Polytechnic library.

This study implemented a quantitative method using a questionnaire to obtain data. Technology Acceptance Model is applied to measure the acceptance of institutional repository system in lecturers perception. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with the slovin formula, therefore 80 samples were obtained in Bali State Polytechnic and 54 samples in Denpasar Health Polytechnic. The analytical method adopted in this study is path analysis of the Structural Equation Model with the support of SmartPLS program to process and test hypotheses using the bootstrap technique.

The results showed that through training, most lecturers in Bali State Polytechnic felt unease of using the repository, in contrast to the lecturers in Denpasar Health Polytechnic, who felt ease of using the repository. In Bali State Polytechnic, the usefulness factor uninfluenced the intention to use the repository, whereas in Denpasar Health Polytechnic, the usefulness factor influenced the intention to use the repository. The implications of the repository system policy in these two institutions are shown through the need for lecturers professional-levels requirements which are strengthened by subjective norms that influence perceived usefulness.
