Sampai dengan saat ini, penetapan harga pokok produksi bibit P. merkusii di RPH Sapuran BK.PH Ngadisono KPH Kedu Selatan hanya memper}ritungkan biaya tenaga kerja langsung dan sebagian biaya sarana produksi saja (bibit ruw pupuk). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan analisis penetapan harga pokok produksi bibit P. merkusii berdasarkan teori produksi ( cost value method ) yaitu analisis biaya dengan memperhitungkan seluruh komponen biaya tetap dan biaya variabel yang seharusnya dihitung oleh produsen. Berdasarkan jumlah out put bibit P. merkusii yang saat ini diproduksi oleh RPH Sapuran BK.PH Ngadisono KPH Kedu Selatan yaitu sebesar 262.402 batang/tahun, maka hasil penelitian menemukan besarnya harga pokok produksi bibit P merkusii adalah sebesar RP. 550,11/batang, yang temyata lebih tinggi sebesar Rp. 104,11/batang ( 18,93%) dari harga yang ditetapkan oleh RPH dimaksud (Rp. 446,00/batang). Dengan demikian, jika perusahaan ingin mencapai break even point, maka peneliti menyarankan jumlah out put yang harus diproduksi sebesar 256.330 batang/tahun

Up to now, the process of determining the cost of production for P. merkusii seedlings at RPH Sapuran, BKPH Ngadisono, KPH Kedu Selatan only calculates direct labor cost and some of the production instrument costs (seeds and fertilizer). This causes an inefficiency on the cost in use. This research is aimed at verifying the analysis of determining the cost of production of P. merkusii based on the production theory ( cost value method), that is a cost analysis which calculates all components of fixed cost as well as variable cost which are supposed to be calculated by the producer. Based on the P. merkusii seedling output currently produced by RPH Sapuran BKPH Ngadisono KPH Kedu Selatan, amounting 262,402 seedlings per year, the research result reveals that the cost of production price of P. merkusii seedlings is Rp. 550.11/planches, which is Rp. 104.11/ planches (18.93%) higher than the price set by the RPH (Rp. 446.00/ planches). Thus, if the company wishes to reach break even point, the research suggests that the output to be produced is 256.330 planches /year.
