Performa Benih Nila Merah (Oreochromis sp.) Hasil Pemijahan Silang Strain Sukamandi dengan Janti pada Pendederan I

2023 | Skripsi | S1 AKUAKULTURPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sintasan, pertumbuhan, rasio konversi pakan, dan nilai heterosis benih nila merah hasil persilangan strain Sukamandi (SM) dengan Janti (JT) secara inbreeding (SM - SM dan JT - JT) dan outbreeding (SM - JT dan JT - SM) pada pendederan I. Penelitian disusun menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Ukuran benih yang ditebar berkisar 0,30 - 0,69 g dan panjang 2,50 - 3,33 cm yang merupakan hasil pembenihan satu cohort. Benih dipelihara menggunakan hapa berukuran 2x2x1 m3, kedalaman air 60 cm, dan padat tebar 200 ekor per hapa. Penelitian berlangsung selama 42 hari dari bulan September sampai dengan November 2022 di Balai Pengembangan Teknologi Perikanan Budidaya Cangkringan, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Frekuensi pemberian pakan sebanyak dua kali sehari dengan dosis 10- 15% berdasarkan biomassa ikan. Pengamatan jumlah, berat, dan panjang individu dilakukan secara sampling setiap dua minggu. Data sintasan, pertumbuhan, dan rasio konversi pakan dianalisis dengan analisis varians dan diuji dengan Duncan's Multiple Range Test. Data heterosis diuji secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh : sintasan berkisar 82,33 - 93,50%, pertumbuhan mutlak berdasarkan panjang 3,11 - 4,27 cm, pertumbuhan mutlak berdasarkan berat 3,20 - 5,07 gram, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3,84 - 6,41%/hari, dan rasio konversi pakan 1,13 - 1,57. Nilai heterosis benih nila merah hasil persilangan outbreeding terhadap inbreeding dapat mengungguli pada karakter pertumbuhan mutlak berdasarkan berat, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, dan rasio konversi pakan.
The research aims to know the survival, growth, feed conversion ratio, and heterosis value of red tilapia seed from inbreeding (SM - SM and JT - JT) and outbreeding (SM - JT and JT - SM) in the first rearing stage. The study was organized using a completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications. The size of red tilapia seeds stocked ranged from 0.30 to 0.69 g and 2.50 to 3.33 cm in length, which were the result of one cohort hatcheries. Red tilapia seeds are reared using 2x2x1 m3 hapa, 60 cm water depth, and a stocking density of 200 seeds per hapa. The study lasted for 42 days from September to November 2022 at the Center for Aquaculture Technology Development in Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The frequency of feeding was twice a day with a dose of 10-15% based of fish biomass. Observations of the number, weight, and length of individuals were made by sampling every two weeks. Data on survival, growth, and feed conversion ratio were analyzed by analysis of variance and tested by Duncan's Multiple Range Test. Heterosis data were tested descriptively. The results obtained: survival ranged from 82.33 - 93.50%, absolute growth based of length 3.11 - 4.27 cm, absolute growth based of weight 3.20 - 5.07 grams, specific growth rate 3.84 - 6.41%/day, and feed conversion ratio 1.13 - 1.57. The heterosis value of red tilapia seeds from outbreeding to inbreeding crosses can outperform in absolute growth characters based on weight, specific growth rate, and feed conversion ratio.
