Penggunaan Material Berbasis Aspal pada Konstruksi Inti Bendungan Tamblang, Kabupaten Buleleng, Provinsi Bali

Bendungan Tamblang dibangun untuk memenuhi kebutuhan irigasi, air baku, PLTMH, pengendalian banjir dan tempat wisata. Bendungan Tamblang dibangun dengan tipe main dam asphalt core embankment dams (ACED). Penggunaan material aspal pada inti bendungan dikarenakan material material lempung di borrow area yang memenuhi spesifikasi hanya 3% dari total kebutuhan material. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesifikasi material inti aspal, metode pelaksanaan inti aspal, produktivitas dari alat finisher asphalt dan biaya pekerjaan timbunan aspal pada Bendungan Tamblang. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan berdasarkan hasil pengujian marshall, pengujian triaxial aspal, pengujian lapangan, pengamatan langsung yang mengacu pada shop drawing, panduan penghamparan, kondisi yang terjadi di lapangan dan analisis produktivitas dihitung sesuai rumus pada Peraturan Pemerintah PUPR Nomor 28 Tahun 2016. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil pengujian triaxial dengan axial strain 18,48% dan 16,04%. Pengujian marshall didapatkan hasil rata-rata Void Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void In The Mix (VIM), dan Void Filled Asphalt (VFA) yaitu 11,94%, 0,38% dan 96,83%. Pengujian suhu aspal didapatkan suhu aspal pada Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP) 159,7 °C, suhu aspal sampai di lokasi sebelum dihamparkan 158,63 °C, suhu aspal saat dihamparkan 149,33 °C dan suhu aspal pada layer sebelumnya 135,78°C. Nilai density, porositas, dan compaction yang didapatkan yaitu sebesar 2,388 gr/cm3, 0,475%, dan 99,53%. Nilai-nilai hasil pengujian tersebut memenuhi spesifikasi teknis yang telah disyaratkan. Analisis metode pelaksanaan inti aspal secara garis besar yaitu persiapan, pencampuran aspal dan aspal mastic di AMP, marking dan setting out, pembersihan area inti bendungan, pemanasan beton dental atau lapisan aspal sebelumnya, pemasangan waterstop, penghamparan aspal mastic, penghamparan aspal dan filter secara manual untuk 2 lapisan pertama, pemadatan, penghamparan aspal dan filter halus secara mekanis menggunakan finisher asphalt, serta pemadatan dengan baby roller. Berdasarkan analisis produktivitas alat finisher asphalt didapatkan nilai 6,4 m3/jam dan hasil analisis biaya Rp 39.751.631.754,96 yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan seluruh pekerjaan aspal dengan volume 6005 m3 dalam waktu 118 hari.

Tamblang Dam was built with the aim of meeting the needs of irrigation, raw water, Micro-hydro Power Plants (PLTMH), flood control system, and tourist destination. In the construction of this dam, Asphalt Core Embankment Dams (ACED) was used. The use of asphalt material in the dam core was due to the fact that the clay materials in the borrow area that meet the specification was only 3% of the total material requirements. Thus, this final project was conducted in order to find out the specification of asphalt core material, the implementation method of asphalt core, the productivity of finisher asphalt and cost of asphalt core in the Tamblang Dam project. The primary data were collected through Marshall testing, Asphalt Triaxial testing, field testing, direct observation based on the shop drawing, work method statement, field conditions, and the productivity analysis calculated according to the formula in the Regulation of Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing Number 28 Year 2016. Based on the analysis results, it was known that the axial strain of 18,48% and 16,04% were obtained from the triaxial testing. From the Marshall testing, the average results of Void Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void In The Mix (VIM), and Void Filled Asphalt (VFA) were obtained, which were 11,94%, 0,38% and 96,83%. The asphalt temperature testing results showed that the asphalt temperature at the Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP) was 159,7 °C, the asphalt temperature at the location before installation was 158,63 °C, the asphalt temperature during installation was 149,33 °C, and the asphalt temperature in the previous layer was 135,78°C. The density, porosity, and compaction value were 2,388 gr/cm3, 0,475%, and 99,53%. The values obtained from these tests meet the required technical specifications. Based on the analysis, the asphalt core implementation method includes preparation, asphalt mixing and asphalt mastic mixing at AMP, marking and setting out, dam core area cleaning, dental concrete or previous asphalt layer heating, waterstop installation, mastic asphalt lay ing, manual asphalt and filter laying for the first two layers, compaction, mechanical laying of asphalt and fine filter using finisher asphalt, and compaction by baby roller. Based on the productivity analysis of finisher asphalt, a value of 6,4 m3/hour was obtained, and the results of the analysis of the cost of Rp 39.751.631.754,96 needed to complete the entire asphalt work with a volume of 6005 m3within 118 days.
