PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PAKAN PABRIKAN YANG DIGUNAKAN OLEH KELOMPOK TERNAK AYAM KARANG TENGAH - GUNUNG KIDUL TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN AYAM KAMPUNG SUPER

2023 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh pemberian pakan dengan kandungan nutrien yang berbeda pada pertumbuhan ayam kampung super atau Jowo super (Joper) periode starter di Desa Karang Tengah, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan 240 ekor ayam kampung super yang dipelihara masyarakat selama 10 minggu. Pemeliharaan dilakukan oleh 12 peternak, yang masing-masing peternak memelihara 20 ekor DOC. Pakan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pakan starter ayam buras AD1 produksi PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, pakan starter ayam pedaging produksi PT Cargill Indonesia, dan pakan starter ayam pedaging produksi PT Sari Rosa Asih. Data yang diambil adalah konsumsi pakan (g/ekor) selama 4 minggu, pertambahan bobot badan (g/ekor), konversi pakan, dan mortalitas (%). Data penelitian dianalisis statistik menggunakan ANOVA yang disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah dengan perangkat lunak personal komputer Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 25.0 dan apabila berbeda secara signifikan dilanjutkan dengan LSD (Least Significance Different). Data yang diperoleh selama periode starter menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi pakan ayam kampung super dengan pemberian pakan JC, CI, dan SR berturut-turut yaitu 627,71±50,65; 687,83±18,93; dan 711,46±61,28 g/ekor, pertambahan bobot badan ayam dengan pemberian pakan JC, CI, dan SR berturut-turut yaitu 229,99±26,12; 224,63±14,22; dan 247,30±47,12, konversi pakan dengan pemberian pakan JC, CI, dan SR berturut-turut yaitu 2,75±0,24; 3,07±0,13; dan 2,95±0,62, dan presentase mortalitas ayam dengan pemberian pakan JC, CI, dan SR berturut-turut yaitu 2,5, 0, dan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian ketiga pakan pabrik berbeda berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi pakan, dan mortalitas ayam kampung super. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga pakan memberikan hasil yang sama terhadap produktivitas ayam kampung super. Peternak dapat memilih salah satu dari ketiga pakan tersebut disesuaikan dengan ketersediaan pakan dan harga pakan di sekitar daerah peternakan.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of feeding with different nutrient content on the growth of Jowo super or super native chicken during the starter period in Karang Tengah Village, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. The study used 240 super native chickens that were raised by the community for 10 weeks. The chickens were raised by 12 farmers, with each farmer raising 20 chicks. The feed used in this study was AD1 native chicken starter feed produced by PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, broiler chicken starter feed produced by PT Cargill Indonesia, and broiler chicken starter feed produced by PT Sari Rosa Asih. The data collected were feed consumption (g/chicken) for 4 weeks, weight gain (g/chicken), feed conversion ratio, and mortality (%). The data were statistically analyzed using ANOVA arranged based on a Completely Randomized Design with a software package for personal computers, Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0, and if there were significant differences, they were further analyzed using Least Significance Different (LSD). The data obtained during the starter period showed that the feed consumption of super native chickens with JC, CI, and SR feed were 627.71±50.65, 687.83±18.93, and 711.46±61.28 g/chicken, respectively. The weight gain of chickens with JC, CI, and SR feed were 229.99±26.12, 224.63±14.22, and 247.30±47.12 g/chicken, respectively. The feed conversion ratios with JC, CI, and SR feed were 2.75±0.24, 3.07±0.13, and 2.95±0.62, respectively. The mortality percentages of chickens with JC, CI, and SR feed were 2.5, 0, and 5%, respectively. The results of the study showed that feeding the three different factory feeds did not significantly affect the feed consumption, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality of super native chickens. Based on the study, it can be concluded that the three feeds provided similar results for the productivity of super native chickens. Farmers can choose one of the three feeds according to the availability and price of feed in the surrounding area of the farm.
