PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN ZEOLITE, CHARCOAL, QUICKLIME PADA LITTER TERHADAP HISTOMORFOLOGI USUS HALUS, KARKAS, DAN BERAT LEMAK ABDOMINAL AYAM BROILER

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Zeolite, Charcoal, Quicklime pada litter di kandang closed house terhadap histomorfologi usus halus, karkas, dan berat lemak abdominal pada ayam broiler. Day Old Chick (DOC) sebanyak 600 ekor dipelihara selama 36 hari dibagi secara acak menjadi 4 perlakuan. Setiap kelompok perlakuan dilakukan pengulangan masing-masing sebanyak 5 kali. Setiap pengulangan terdiri dari 30 ekor. Adapun perlakuan yang di terapkan adalah P1 : sekam padi 100%, P2 : sekam padi 90% dengan penambahan zeolite 10%, P3 : sekam padi 90% dengan penambahan charcoal 10%, P4 : sekam padi 90% dengan penambahan quicklime 10%. Data yang diamati dari penelitian ini yaitu berat karkas, lemak abdominal dan histomorfologi usus halus (Tinggi villi, lebar villi, kedalaman kripta, duedonum, jejunum dan ileum). Analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi dari Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah (Completely Randomized Design) dengan uji beda mean menggunakan Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) jika terdapat perbedaan. Analisis data dibantu dengan menggunakan Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan beberapa bahan zeolite, charcoal, dan quicklime pada litter sebagai alas ayam broiler di kandang closed house meningkatkan (P<0,05) berat karkas dan lemak abdominal dari ayam broiler, namun tidak memengaruhi dari histomorfologi usus halus. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penambahan bahan zeolite, charcoal, dan quicklime pada litter sebagai alas ayam broiler berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat karkas dan lemak abdominal tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap histomorofologi usus halus.

This study aims to determine the effect of adding Zeolite, Charcoal, and Quicklime to litter in closed-house cages on the histomorphology of the small intestine, carcass, and abdominal fat weight in broiler chickens. 600 Day Old Chicks (DOC) were reared for 36 days and divided randomly into 4 treatments. Each treatment group was repeated 5 times. Each repetition consists of 30 tails. The treatment applied was P1: 100% rice husk, P2: 90% rice husk with the addition of 10% zeolite, P3: 90% rice husk with the addition of 10% charcoal, P4: 90% rice husk with the addition of 10% quicklime. The observed data from this study were carcass weight, abdominal fat, and small intestine histomorphology (villous height, villi width, crypt depth, duodenum, jejunum, and ileum). Data analysis used analysis of variance from a Completely Randomized Design (Completely Randomized Design) with a mean difference test using Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if there was a difference. Data analysis was assisted by using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The results showed that the addition of some zeolite, charcoal, and lime materials to the litter as bedding for broiler chickens in closed-house cages increased (P<0.05) carcass weight and abdominal fat from broiler chickens, but was not affected by small intestinal histomorphology. This study concludes that the addition of zeolite, charcoal, and lime to the litter as broiler bedding has a significant effect on carcass weight and abdominal fat but has no significant effect on the histomorphology of the small intestine.
