Forest grazing control to prevent the destructive impact towards the national park is extremely essential to maintain the conservation of the existing savana in Baluran National Park. especially the savana Karangtekok. This effort depends on various aspects in the field and the available data of factors causing the forest grazing. Studies to collect all information of the problems should be conducted. The study was done in two steps of research, i.e the background of the forest grazing and its hazardous impact to the savana of Karangtekok. Purposive sampling technique in four villages was carried in the first step by selecting 94 respondents. Factors to be determined were the availability of the cattle feeds, population of the cattle, perception of the farmers about the importance of national park, the unavoidable drive to forest grazing in the park, the extention and the control programs of the park management.
