Pertu.mbu.han semai eboni Diospyros celebica Bakh J sampai berumur b bu.lan sangat dipengaru.hi oleh intensitas cahaya yang diterima semai, pasokan hara nitrogen dan fosfor. Kriteria yang digunakan untuk menyatakan pertumbuhan semai adalah: oerat kering total, ·tinggi, diameter, nilai kekoko.ban, top to root ratio, indek kualitas dan kandungan air relatir semai. aungan ctengan persentase cahaya yang diterima semai sebesar 7

The growh oi eboni lDiospyros celebica Eakb.) seedling unil 6 monhs was influenced by the intencity of light reaching the seedling and the nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients supply. he parameter of eboni seedling growth.were : the total d????y mass,the height, the diameter, the strength value, top to root ratio, the quality index and the relative water content of seedling. the optimal shade for the seedling growth was the condition where 70 % or light reached the seedling. ase on the seedling dry mass, the optimal of nmtrogen supply was 2 - 3 , and the phosphorus nutrient supply was : 0,2 - 0,3 - here was a positive interaction between shade and nitrogen nutrient supply, shade and phosphorus supply and also nitrogen and phosphoBus nutrients supply on the growth or eboni seedling. The seedling medium with sufficient nutrients was still responsive to fertilization, so this recomendation af fertilization can be taken into consideration.
