Pengaruh Penebangan Hutan Terhadap Populasi dan Habitat Satwa burung Bayan (Electus roratus PLS Muller) di Pulau Bacan Maluku Utara

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk melihat samoai seberapa jauh pengaruh penebanqan hutan yang dilaksanakan oleh pemegang HPH di Pulau Bacan terhadap populasi dan habitat satwa burung Bayan (Eclectus roratus}. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Cluster analisis dan Analisa Regresi linier ganda, pada 4 tioe hutan kelas umur lepas tebang (Hutan utuh, HBT 5 tahun, HBT 10 tahun. HBT 15 tahun). Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan cluster analisis terlihat bahwa pada koefisien jarak 22,4262 terdaoat 3 kelompok komunitas dimana kelompok pertama ditemoati oleh releve-releve dari hutan utuh dan hutan bekas tebana 15 tahun, kelompok ke dua ditempati oleh releve-releve dari hutan bekas tebang 10 tahun dan kelomook ke tiqa ditemoati oleh releve-releve dari hutan bekas tebanq 5 tahun. Hasil analisis regresi d!peroleh R-squared = 0,97 dan dari hasil analisis varian reqresi terlihat bahwa semua variabel bebas (X), menunjukkan penqaruh nyata terhadao variabel bergantunq (Y), dimana pada taraf uji 0,01 dan 0,05 dari (F tabel 9, 6) = 7,98 dan 10,39 < dari F hituna 22,01. Ini berarti penebangan hutan jelas memberi oenqaruh terhadao kehadiran satwa burung Bayan (Eclectus roratus}, baik populasi maupun habitatnya.

This study was conducted to determine the effects of timber logging-done by concession holder in Bacan Island to the population and habitat of Eclectus parrot (Eclectus .ro.ratus) Cluster analysis and multiple regression were used to analize the data obtained from four of logged forests (i.e. natural forest, 5-year, and 15-year after being logged). approach classes 10-year, The results of the cluster analysis showed that there were three community groups at a distance of 22.4262 with releves of natural forest and 15-year logged over forest belong to the first group, those of 5-year logged over forest in the second group, and lastly those of 10-year logged over forest belong to the third group. The multiple regression analysis showed that all together the variables influenced significantly the popu 2 lation and the habitat of the Eclectus parrot, with an R = 0,97 and LSD 0.01 and 0.05.
