2023 | Skripsi | S1 MANAJEMENPenelitian ini mengadopsi teori ekspektasi-diskonfirmasi untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh ekspektasi employer dan persepsi employer terhadap kepuasan employer mengenai keahlian tertentu yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa peserta Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MSIB) angkatan 2. Pengaruh mediasi variabel diskonfirmasi pada hubungan antara ekspektasi employer dan persepsi employer terhadap kepuasan employer juga diuji dan dianalisis dalam penelitian ini. Terdapat 322 responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Proses pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Data diolah dengan metode SEM-PLS melalui software SmartPLS dengan analisis PLS Algoritma dan bootstrapping. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ekspektasi employer hanya berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan employer melalui mediasi diskonfirmasi. Sedangkan, persepsi employer bepengaruh pada kepuasan employer secara langsung dan melalui mediasi diskonfirmasi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa keahlian yang menjadi faktor utama ekspektasi, persepsi, dan kepuasan mentor yang dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan program.
This research adopts expectations-disconfirmation theory to examine and analyse the effect of employer's expectation and employer's perception on employer's satisfaction regarding certain skills possessed by students participating in Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MSIB) batch 2. The mediating effect of disconfirmation variable on the relationship between employer's expectation as well as employer's perception on employer's satisfaction was also tested and analyzed in this research. There were 322 respondents who participated in this study. The sampling process was carried out using the nonprobability sampling method, namely purposive sampling. The data was processed using the SEM-PLS method through SmartPLS software with PLS Algorithm analysis and bootstrapping. This study found that employer's expectation only affects employer's satisfaction through mediating effect of disconfirmation. Meanwhile, the employer's perception influences employer's satisfaction directly and through the mediating effect of disconfirmation. This research also found a number of skills that are the main factors of mentor expectations, perceptions, and satisfaction that can be used for further program development.
