Implementasi Sistem Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja pada Pengolahan Getah Pinus di Pabrik Gondorukem dan Terpentin Garahan Perhutani KBM Jawa Timur

Industri pengolahan bahan baku memiliki risiko tinggi terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karena menyangkut peralatan dan mesin produksi, areal kerja, dan sumber daya manusia. Adanya ketimpangan dari salah satu faktor akan meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan kerja. Untuk menghindari hal tersebut, perusahaan menerapkan sistem keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) sebagai upaya pencegahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi implementasi sistem K3 dan persepsi pekerja terhadap penerapan K3 di Pabrik Gondorukem dan Terpentin (PGT) Garahan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di PGT Garahan, Jember dengan objek penelitian yaitu identifikasi kecelakaan kerja, persepsi pekerja terkait penerapan K3 dan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk identifikasi kecelakaan kerja dan penggunaan APD serta skala likert untuk persepsi pekerja. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kecelakaan kerja yang pernah dialami pekerja yaitu kecelakaan ringan seperti tergores, kelilipan, jatuh, terpleset, dan kulit melepuh. Dari segi pemahaman pekerja terhadap K3 menghasilkan nilai 92%; persepsi pekerja terhadap kebijakan dan prosedur K3 di PGT Garahan menghasilkan nilai 88,62%; dan persepsi pekerja terhadap lingkungan kerja menghasilkan nilai 91,18%. Ketiga faktor tersebut termasuk dalam persentase kategori baik. Penggunaan APD oleh para pekerja sudah baik namun terdapat beberapa pekerja yang tidak patuh terutama jenis APD sarung tangan dan masker yang didominasi angka persentase kepatuhan 60-80%. Pengendalian yang dapat dilakukan adalah briefing sebelum bekerja dan patroli APD untuk menertibkan pekerja dalam penerapan K3. Selain itu, pengendalian K3 yang perlu dilakukan adalah pembaruan papan peringatan K3, melengkapi sarana dan prasaran K3, dan memasang penyedot udara panas dan peredam suara di ruang boiler.

The raw material processing industry has a high risk of occupational safety and health because it involves production equipment and machinery, work areas, and human resources. The imbalance of one of the factors will increase the risk of work accidents. To avoid this, companies implement an occupational safety and health (OHS) system as a preventive effort. The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation of the OHS system and workers' perceptions of the implementation of OHS at the Garahan Gondorukem and Turpentine Factory (PGT). The research was conducted at PGT Garahan, Jember, with the object of research being the identification of work accidents, workers' perceptions regarding the implementation of OHS, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The data analysis used was descriptive and qualitative for the identification of work accidents and the use of PPE and Likert scales for workers' perceptions. The results of the study showed that the work accidents experienced by workers were minor accidents such as scratches, slips, falls, slips, and skin blisters. In terms of workers' understanding of OHS, it resulted in a value of 92%; workers' perceptions of OHS policies and procedures at PGT Garahan resulted in a value of 88.62%; and workers' perceptions of the work environment resulted in a value of 91.18%. All three factors are included in the good category percentage. The use of PPE by workers is good, but there are some workers who are not compliant, especially with the types of PPE gloves and masks, which have a compliance rate of 60-80%. Controls that can be carried out are briefings before work and PPE patrols to discipline workers in the application of OHS. In addition, OHS controls that need to be carried out are updating the OHS warning board, completing OHS facilities and infrastructure, and installing hot air suction and silencers in the boiler room.
