Pengaruh Capital Structure Terhadap Profitabilitas: Studi Empiris pada Indeks IDX30 dan Indeks Investor33 dalam Kurun Waktu 2017 - 2021

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh struktur modal terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Obyek penelitian ini adalah struktur modal perusahaan yang terdaftar pada indeks IDX30 dan Investor33 dalam kurun waktu tahun 2017 - 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi berganda yang menguji lebih dari satu variabel bebas yaitu rasio utang, ukuran perusahaan, serta aset berwujud terhadap variabel terikat yaitu tingkat pengembalian atas ekuitas yang diinvestasikan oleh pemegang saham. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar secara tetap dalam kurun waktu penelitian pada indeks IDX30 dan Investor33. Sebanyak 80 dan 105 sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian indeks IDX30 dan Investor33. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode pemilihan sampel dengan sampel spesifik sesuai kebutuhan penelitian. Pengujian ini memiliki hasil bahwa rasio utang memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas. Ukuran perusahaan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas. Aset berwujud memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas.

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure on company profitability. The object of this study is the capital structure of companies listed on the IDX30 and Investor 33 indices in the period 2017 - 2021. This study uses a multiple regression method that tests more than one independent variable, namely debt ratio, company size, and tangible assets to the dependent variable, namely the rate of return on equity invested by shareholders. The sample in this study were companies that were permanently registered during the study period on the IDX30 and Investor33 indexes. A total of 80 and 105 samples were used in the IDX30 and Investor33 index studies. Sampling uses a sample selection method with specific samples according to research needs. This test has the result that the debt ratio has a negative effect on profitability. Firm size has a positive effect on profitability. Tangible assets have a positive effect on profitability.
