Efisiensi Usahatani Jamur Tiram di Kabupaten Sleman

Produksi jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sleman selama tujuh tahun terakhir mengalami penurunan. Penurunan produksi diduga karena usaha tani yang tidak efisien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendapatan usaha tani, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi usaha tani, tingkat efisiensi teknis dan sumber inefisiensi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Ordinary Least Square, dan fungsi produksi stochastic frontier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan usaha tani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sleman adalah Rp 144.328.620 dengan R/C 1,26. Faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap usaha tani adalah jumlah baglog. Tingkat efisiensi teknis usaha tani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sleman adalah 80%. Sumber inefisiensi teknis meliputi umur petani, tingkat pendidikan dan penggunaan alat pasteurisasi tradisional. Disimpulkan bahwa usaha tani jamur tiram di Kabupaten Sleman layak dilakukan tetapi secara teknis belum efisien.

Oyster mushroom production in Sleman Regency for the last seven years has decreased. The decline in production is thought to be due to inefficient farming. The purpose of this study is to determine the income of farming, the factors that affect farming, the level of technical efficiency and sources of inefficiency. The method used in this research is Ordinary Least Square, and the Stochastic Frontier Production Function. The results showed that the income of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency was IDR 144,328,620 with an R/C of 1.26. The factor that has a significant effect on farming is the number of baglogs. The level of technical efficiency of oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency is 80%. Sources of technical inefficiency include farmer's age, education level and use of traditional pasteurization equipment. It was concluded that oyster mushroom farming in Sleman Regency is feasible but technically it is not efficient.
