Penelitian m1 berjudul "Pengelolaan Butan Lindung Kabupaten Temanggung (Studi Kasus Perambahan Hutan Lindung oleh Masyarakat untuk Budidaya Tanaman Tembakau )". Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui pengelolaan Rutan Lindung Kabupaten Temanggung. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat terhadap kegiatan perambahan hutan lindung untuk budidaya tanaman Tembakau Evaluasi kebijakan pengelolan hutan lindung Kabupaten Temanggung. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sample diambil satu contoh desa karena desa-desa yang berbatasan dengan kawasan hutan lindung mempunyai derajat keseragaman yang sangat tinggi. Pengambilan sample untuk responden digunakan metode simple random sampling. Serta untuk analisa hasil menggunakan analisa regrsi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pengelolaan yang dilakukan oleh pihak pengelola dalam mengatasi perambahan hutan lindung oleh masyarakat untuk budidaya tanaman Tembakau belum bisa dirasakan hasilnya, karena masih kurang maksimalnya kerjasama antara pihak pengelola hutan lindung yang dalam hal ini adalah Perum Perhutani dengan PemKab. Faktor Kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang meliputi jumlah keluarga (Xl ), jumlah keluarga yang bekerja (X2), luas lahan (X3), pendapatan dari hutan(X4), pendapatan dari luar (XS) dan jarak (X6)mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dan berpengaruh sebesar 63,3% terhadap jumlah pohon dan pengaruh terhadap luas lahan hutan lindung yang dirambah untuk budidaya tanaman tembakau sebesar 69,3%, artinya petani dalam kegiatanya merambah hutan lindung untuk budidaya tanaman tembakau dipengaruhi oleh oleh faktor-faktor tersebut diatas, tanpa mengesampingkan faktor lain yang tidak diteliti oleh penulis. Sedangkan evaluasi kebijakan pengelolaan hutan lindung, pihak pengelola bekerjasama dengan PemKab mengupayakan pemecahan agar usaha tani Tembakau tetap mempertimbangkan kelestarian lahan dengan anjuran tehnik konservasi lahan tembakau, meskipun hasilnya sampai saat ini hasilnya belum terlihat maksimal.

This Research entitled the "Management The Protected Forest of Regency Temanggung (Case Study of Chopped the Protected Forest by the farmers to expand of Tobacco Crop)". This Research Target is to know the management of Protected Forest of Regency Temanggung. To know the social condition influence society economics to activity of people to choped the protected forest for expand of Tobacco crop. Evaluate the policy of Management the protected forest of Regency Temanggung Method used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The Sample taken by one example of the village near the forest. Intake Sample for the responden of used method of simple random sampling. And also to analyses the result use the regression analysis. The result of the research that the management pattern to swpass the chopped in the protected forest by the farmers to expand Tobacco crop, until now is not to be succesfull.- The social and economic Condition Factor, include totally number of family ( Xl), total the labour in family ( X2), wide farm ( X3),the output from forest(X4), the output from the outside of forest ( XS) and the distance from the house to the forest ( X6). There are have Relation which significant and have an effect with the nmber of treein the forest and influence to wide farm the chopped of protected forest which to expand the tobacco crop, its meaning the farmer in work to chopped the protected forest for expand of tobacco crop influenced by the factors above, and also influence the other factor there are not precise by the writer.
