Konsep Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Ditinjau Dari Perspektif Filsafat Pendidikan Progresivisme William Heard Kilpatrick

2023 | Skripsi | S1 FILSAFATPenelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan konsep pembelajaran jarak jauh bagi tenaga pengajar dan peserta didik di masa pandemi Covid-19 menurut perspektif Filsafat Pendidikan Progresivisme William Heard Kilpatrick. Selama Pandemi Covid-19, pembelajaran dilakukan dengan video call dengan menggunakan media Zoom, Google Meet, dan Webex. Selama proses pembelajaran dari rumah, terjadi perubahan cara mengakses materi pembelajaran dan penugasan sekolah dari sebelumnya dilakukan di depan tenaga pengajar, menjadi pengiriman lewat aplikasi sosial media, seperti WhatsApp, Microsoft 365, dan Google Classroom. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk memahami kesesuaian pemikiran Filsafat Pendidikan Progresivisme William Heard Kilpatrick terhadap perkembangan proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian historis aktual mengenai naskah buku, yaitu Filsafat Pendidikan William Heard Kilpatrick 1951, dengan beberapa unsur metode filosofis, yaitu: deskriptif, interpretasi, holistik dan refleksi kritis. Sementara itu metodis filosofis yang digunakan adalah �Hermeneutika Filosofis�. Untuk penelitian kualitatif berupa wawancara terhadap narasumber guru di masing-masing sekolah mengenai pengalaman mengajar peserta didik selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini berjalan dengan tahapan-tahapan sebagai berikut, yaitu: pengumpulan data, klasifikasi dan inventaris data, penelitian dengan wawancara, analisis data, dan penyusunan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa William Heard Kilpatrick menghendaki proses pendidikan berjalan dan berkembang secara berkelanjutan dengan konsep pembelajaran jarak jauh secara daring dan tatap muka di kelas. Hubungan tenaga pengajar dan peserta didik dengan jenis pembelajaran yang terpadu (Integrated Learning) berdasarkan pada kemampuan masing-masing peserta didik, dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukannya, sejalan dengan pemikiran Progresivisme William Heard Kilpatrick.
This research aims to explain the concept of distance learning for teaching staff and students during the Covid-19 pandemic according to the perspective of William Heard Kilpatrick's Progressivism Educational Philosophy. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, learning was carried out by video call using Zoom, Google Meet and Webex media. During the learning process from home, there was a change in the way of accessing learning materials and school assignments from previously being done in front of the teaching staff, to delivery via social media applications, such as WhatsApp, Microsoft 365 and Google Classroom. This study seeks to understand the suitability of William Heard Kilpatrick's Progressivism Educational Philosophy of thought for the development of the learning and teaching process. This research is actual historical research on the text of a book, namely "Philosophy of Education William Heard Kilpatrick 1951", with several elements of philosophical methods, namely: descriptive, interpretation, holistic and critical reflection. Meanwhile the philosophical method used is "Philosophical Hermeneutics". For qualitative research in the form of interviews with teacher informants in each school regarding the experience of teaching students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research proceeded with the following stages, namely: data collection, classification and inventory of data, research with interviews, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. This research shows that William Heard Kilpatrick wants the education process to run and develop in a sustainable manner with the concept of online and face-to-face distance learning in the classroom. The relationship between teaching staff and students with this type of integrated learning (Integrated Learning) is based on the abilities of each student, in the learning process that they do, in line with William Heard Kilpatrick's Progressivism thinking.
