PENAMBAHAN BIOCHAR ESSENTIAL OIL DALAM PAKAN TERKONTAMINASI AFLATOKSIN B1 TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS DAN TOKSIKOSIS HATI BROILER

2023 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan campuran biochar dan essential oil dalam pakan terkontaminasi aflatoksin B1 (AFB1). Total 96 Day Old Chick (DOC) LOHMAN MB202 digunakan dalam penelitian. Perlakuan dalam penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (completely randomized design). Perlakuan terdiri dari P0 (Kontrol, basal diet, tanpa penambahan AFB1 dan campuran biochar dan essential oil), P1 (pakan kontrol dengan penambahan AFB1), P2 (pakan kontrol dengan penambahan AFB1 dan 0,1% biochar dan essential oil), dan P3 (pakan kontrol dengan penambahan AFB1 dan 0,2% biochar dan essential oil). Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 4 ulangan dengan 6 ekor per ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi pola searah (ANOVA) dan uji lanjut dengan uji Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) apabila terdapat perbedaan nilai rerata. Hasil menunjukkan penambahan 0,1% campuran biochar dan essential oil sebanyak 0,2% dalam pakan tercemar AFB1 dapat meningkatkan tingkat konsumsi pakan broiler (P<0,05). Penambahan biochar dan essential oil diketahui tidak berpengaruh terhadap berat hati (P>0,05) dan nilai SGOT darah (P>0,05) namun berpengaruh terhadap nilai SGPT dalam darah (P<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan 0,1% biochar dan essential dalam pakan mampu mengurangi kerusakan hati yang ditimbulkan oleh AFB1 tanpa memengaruhi produktivitas broiler.
This study aimed to determine the effect of adding biochar and essential oil mixture in aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) contaminated feed. A total of 96 LOHMAN MB202 Day Old Chick (DOC) were used in the study. The treatments in the study used a completely randomised design. The treatments consisted of P0 (Control, basal diet, without the addition of AFB1 and mixture of biochar and essential oil), P1 (control diet with the addition of AFB1), P2 (control diet with the addition of AFB1 and 0.1% biochar and essential oil), and P3 (control diet with the addition of AFB1 and 0.2% biochar and essential oil). Each treatment consisted of 4 replicates with 6 units per replicate. Data obtained were analysed with Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and further testing with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if there were differences in mean values. The results showed that the mixture of biochar and 0.2% essential oil in feed contaminated with AFB1 increased the level of broiler feed consumption (P<0.05). The addition of biochar and essential oil was not known to affect liver weight (P> 0.05) and blood SGOT values (P> 0.05) but affected blood SGPT values (P < 0.05). Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the addition of 0,1% biochar and essential in the feed can reduce the liver damage caused by AFB1 without affect broiler productivity.
