Kinerja Produksi dan Komposisi Susu Induk Kambing Peranakan Ettawa pada Periode Laktasi 1 dan 2 di Garage Farm, Sleman, Yogyakarta

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produksi dan komposisi susu kambing Peranakan Ettawa (PE) pada periode laktasi pertama dan kedua. Hasil pengamatan diuji dengan metode independent sampel t-test. Produksi susu harian pada laktasi pertama dan kedua masing-masing yaitu 0,825±0,101 dan 0,811±0,145. Produksi susu satu periode laktasi pada laktasi pertama yaitu 172,29±21,20 dan pada laktasi kedua sebesar 170,44±30,64. Produksi susu yang dibutuhkan untuk memproduksi sebesar 4% FCM pada laktasi pertama sebesar 0,377±0,46 dan sebesar 0,365±0,66 pada laktasi kedua. Persentase antara produksi susu dengan bobot badan pada laktasi pertama dan kedua masing-masing yaitu 1,629±0,17 dan 1,774±0,33. Perubahan bobot badan absolut pada laktasi pertama sebesar 23,000±80,25 sedangkan pada laktasi kedua sebesar 49,889±27,68. Perubahan bobot badan relatif pada laktasi pertama sebesar 0,779±1,68 dan pada laktasi kedua yaitu sebesar 1,098±0,56. Berat jenis susu dari induk pada laktasi pertama sebesar 1,027±0,001 dan berat jenis dari susu induk dari laktasi periode kedua sebesar 1,029±0,005. Kandungan mineral kalsium dalam susu induk laktasi pertama sebesar 8,99±0,86 sedangkan kandungan mineral kalsium dari induk pada periode laktasi kedua sebesar 9,84±1,23. Pendapatan peternakan dari hasil penjualan susu induk laktasi pertama sebesar Rp 4.092.000,00 per bulan. Sedangkan pendapatan peternakan dari penjualan susu periode laktasi kedua sebesar Rp6.160.000,00.

This research was aimed to determine the milk production and compotition of Etawah Crossbreed in the first and second lactation periods. Results of observation were tested by independent sample t-test method. Daily milk production in the first and second lactation were 0.825±0.101 and 0.811±0.145, respectively. Milk production in first lactation period in the first lactation was 172.29±21.20 and in the second lactation was 170.44±30.64. The milk production required to produce 4% FCM in the first lactation was 0.377±0.46 and 0.365±0.66 in the second lactation. The percentages between milk production and body weight in the first and second lactation were 1.629±0.17 and 1.774±0.33, respectively. The change in absolute body weight in the first lactation was 23,000±80.25 while in the second lactation it was 49,889±27.68. The change in relative body weight in the first lactation was 0.779 ± 1.68 and in the second lactation it was 1.098 ± 0.56. The specific gravity of the milk in the first lactation was 1.027±0.001 and the specific gravity of the milk from the second lactation was 1.029±0.005. The calcium mineral content in the first lactating was 8.99±0.86 while the calcium mineral content of the milk in the second lactation period was 9.84±1.23. Farm income from the sale of the first lactation mother's milk has IDR 4,092,000.00 per month. Meanwhile, farm income from selling milk for the second lactation period has Rp. 6,160.000,00.
