Peran Orientasi Kepribadian Menurut Anchor Personality Theory terhadap Quarter Life Crisis pada Emerging Adulthood

Quarter life crisis pada masa emerging adulthood dipicu oleh berbagai kekhawatiran di masa depan mengenai karier, hubungan romantis, dan relasi sosial. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi QLC adalah kepribadian. Oleh karena itu, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dimensi kepribadian anchor terhadap quarter life crisis pada emerging adulthood. Penelitian ini melibatkan 279 individu yang berada pada kelompok usia 18-25 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui Google Form yang disebarkan melalui media sosial. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Skala Quarter Life Crisis dan Anchor Personality Inventory. Hasil analisis dengan metode regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa anchor virtues memiliki hubungan negatif dalam memprediksi quarter life crisis secara signfikan. Namun demikian, anchor materials dan others menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dalam memprediksi quarter life crisis secara signifikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini secara empiris menunjukkan pentingnya emerging adulthood untuk berorientasi pada nilai-nilai kebajikan (virtues) untuk mencegah quarter life crisis dan mencapai fungsi psikologis yang optimal.

Quarter life crisis during emerging adulthood is triggered by various worries in the future regarding career, romantic relationship, and social relation. This study aims to understand the role between anchor personality dimensions toward quarter life crisis in emerging adulthood. The participants of this study were 279 people in the 18-25 year age group. This study was conducted with the quantitative approach using survey method through social media. The instruments used were Quarter Life Crisis Scale and Anchor Personality Inventory. The results of the analysis using the multiple linear regression method show that anchor values have a significant negative relationship in predicting quarter life crisis. However, anchor materials and others show a significant positive relationship in predicting quarter life crisis. The implications of this research empirically show the importance of emerging adulthood to be oriented towards virtues to prevent quarter life crises and achieve optimal psychological functioning.
