Frame dan Model Kognitif Ideal Pulisi pada Kalangan Mahasiswa Jenjang Sarjana di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

Penelitian ini membahas ekspresi kebahasaan pulisi dalam kajian linguistik kognitif. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah kata pulisi pada kalangan mahasiswa jenjang sarjana di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Data yang diperoleh diambil dari penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan metode agih dan padan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui aspek kebahasaan hasil jawaban responden, konsep pulisi, frame yang terbentuk dari kategori pulisi yang diinginkan dan tidak diinginkan, serta model kognitif ideal pulisi. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan lima konsep pulisi, yaitu pulisi sebagai pemelihara keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, pulisi sebagai seseorang yang bekerja untuk negara, pulisi sebagai seseorang yang biasa, pulisi sebagai seseorang yang menyebalkan, dan pulisi sebagai seseorang yang menyalahgunakan kewenangan. Konsep tersebut memengaruhi munculnya kategori pulisi yang diinginkan dan tidak diinginkan. Adapun frame yang terbentuk dari kategori pulisi yang diinginkan adalah frame perbuatan dan frame penampilan. Frame yang terbentuk dari kategori pulisi yang tidak diinginkan adalah frame perbuatan dan frame sifat. Frame tersebut memengaruhi munculnya model kognitif ideal pulisi. Adapun model kognitif ideal pulisi yang terbentuk berdasarkan frame pulisi yang diinginkan yaitu pulisi yang menjaga ketertiban masyarakat, pulisi yang mengatur lalu lintas, pulisi yang menenangkan masyarakat, pulisi yang berpenampilan menarik, pulisi yang melayani masyarakat, pulisi yang mengayomi masyarakat, pulisi yang taat hukum/peraturan, dan pulisi yang bertanggung jawab kepada keluarga. Model kognitif ideal pulisi yang terbentuk berdasarkan frame pulisi yang tidak diinginkan yaitu pulisi yang profesional, pulisi yang tidak korupsi, pulisi yang rendah hati, pulisi yang menilang dengan legal, dan pulisi yang tegas.

This research discusses the concept of police through cognitive linguistic studies. The object of this research is the word of pulisi among undergraduate students in the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The data were obtained by questionnaires and analyzed by the agih method and padan method. The purpose of this study is to determine the linguistic analysis of the respondent�s answers, the concept of the police, the frame formed from the desirable and undesirable categories of the police, and the ideal cognitive model of the police. Based on the analysis that has been done, it was found five concepts of the police, that are the police as the custodian of public security and order, the police as someone who works for the state, the police as an ordinary person, the police as someone who annoying, and the police as someone who abuses authority. Those concepts influence the emergence of desirable and undesirable categories of police. The frames that formed from the desired category of police are the frame of action and the frame of appearence. On the other hand, the frames that formed from the undesirable category of police are the frame of action and the frame of character. Furthermore, these frames influences the emergence of the ideal cognitive model of the police. The ideal cognitive model of the police based on the frame of the desired categorize of police are the police who protects the community, the police who regulates traffic, the police who calms the community, the polisi who has attractive look, the police who maintains public order, the police who serves the community, the police who obeys laws/regulations, and the police who are responsible to the family. While, the ideal cognitive model of the police based on the frame of the undesirable category of the police who are professional, the non-corrupt police, the humble police, the police who checked legally, and the police who forceful.
