Respon Masyarakat Terhadap Pengembangan Pariwisata di Desa Wringinputih Kecamatan Borobudur Kabupaten Magelang Jawa Tengah

Pengembangan pariwisata tidak terlepas dari kedudukan masyarakat yang menjadi syarat utama dalam prosesnya. Respon masyarakat setempat dapat menentukan keberhasilan sebuah pengembangan pariwisata. Pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Wringinputih menimbulkan berbagai macam respon dan reaksi dari masyarakat. Wringinputih merupakan desa memiliki banyak potensi-potensi budaya dan alam untuk dikembangkan , serta lokasi desa yang strategis dekat dengan Candi Borobudur. Namun hal terersebut belum membuat pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Wringinputih maju dan berjalan dengan baik. Sehubungan dengan pemaparan di atas, adapun dari tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan pengembangan pariwisata selama lima tahun terakhir di desa Wringinputih, (2) mendeskripsikan respon masyarakat terhadap pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Wringinputih selama lima tahun terakhir. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama lima tahun terakhir pengembangan pariwisata yang meliputi atraksi, amenitas, akesesibilitas, dan juga sumber daya manusia di desa Wringinputih cukup baik meskipun masih kurang optimal. Pengembangan amenitas dan aksesibilitas sudah mengalami kemajuan, namun pengembangan atraksi dan juga sumber daya manusianya masih belum optimal. Hal tersebut berdampak pada respon masyarkat terhadap pengembangan pariwisata di desa Wringinputih. Respon masyarakat dilatar belakangi oleh persepsi, sikap, dan tindakan. Sejauh ini respon masyarakat desa Wringinputih masih sporadic atau tidak menentu terhadap pengembangan pariwisata. Sebagian masyarakat telah responsive, mendukung namun tidak sedikit yang memberikan respon pasif, acuh, tidak peduli. Beragamnya respon yang diberikan masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan kebutuhan, motivasi, tujuan, kepentingan masing-masing masyarakat di desa Wringinputih.

Tourism development is inseparable from the position of the community which is the main requirement in the process. The response of the local community can determine the success of tourism development. The development of tourism in Wringinputih Village has given rise to various kinds of responses and reactions from the community. Wringinputih is a village that has a lot of cultural and natural potential to be developed, as well as a strategic village location close to Borobudur Temple. However, this has not made tourism development in Wringinputih Village progress and run well. About the above explanation, the objectives of this study were: (1) describe tourism development during the last five years in Wringinputih village, (2) describe the community's response to tourism development in Wringinputih Village over the last five years. The approach used in this study was a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected from in-depth interview techniques, observation, and literature study. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that during the last five years tourism development which includes attractions, amenities, accessibility, and also human resources in Wringinputih village has been quite good although it is still not optimal. The development of amenities and accessibility has progressed, but the development of attractions and human resources is still not optimal. This has an impact on the community's response to tourism development in Wringinputih village. Community responses are motivated by perceptions, attitudes, and actions. So far the response of the Wringinputih village community is still sporadic or erratic towards tourism development. Some people have been responsive, and supportive, but not a few have given passive, indifferent, uncaring responses. The various responses given by the community were influenced by differences in the needs, motivations, goals, and interests of each community in Wringinputih village.
