Systematic Literature Review : Efektivitas Stimulasi Hemisfer untuk Anak dan Remaja dengan Disleksia Perkembangan pada Domain Ortografi Transparan

Tujuan Systematic Literature Review ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas intervensi neuropsikologi berupa stimulasi hemisfer berdasarkan teori Balance Model Bakker dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca anak dan remaja yang mengalami disleksia perkembangan pada domain ortografi transparan. Penelitian ini penting diteliti karena pemahaman mengenai intervensi stimulasi hemisfer ini dapat membantu psikolog klinis menentukan rekomendasi alternatif intervensi yang lebih efektif atau memberikan rujukan yang sesuai kebutuhan anak dan remaja dengan disleksia perkembangan. Penanganan yang cepat merupakan hal penting karena disleksia yang tidak kunjung membaik dapat meningkatkan depresi. Penelitian ini mengisi bagian yang belum banyak menjadi perhatian yaitu memuat efektivitas kesesuaian antar jenis disleksia dengan intervensi yang diberikan, domain ortografi dan fleksibelitas setting pelaksanaan intervensi. Metode: Database yang menjadi sumber dari Systematic Literature Review ini meliputi Scopus, Google Scholar, Ebschohost, Jstore, Pubmed, ProQuest dan ScienceDirect. Hasil pencarian studi diperoleh 7 dari 255 jurnal penelitian dengan topik yang telah ditetapkan. Studi pada penelitian ini dianalisa dengan tinjauan narratif. Hasil: Intervensi stimulasi hemisfer berdasarkan teori Balance Model-Bakker dapat peningkatan akurasi membaca, kecepatan membaca, dan kesadaran fonemik. Pemberian stimulus yang melibatkan irama dan musik berpotensi besar meningkatkan keterikatan dan motivasi partisipan dalam mengikuti intervensi, sehingga cepat terjadi perbaikan. Jumlah sesi intervensi paling efektif sebanyak 18 sesi. Kesimpulan: Studi penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas intervensi adalah ketepatan dalam asesmen dalam menentukan tipe disleksia yang dialami anak maupun remaja, sehingga dapat memberikan stimulasi hemisfer yang sesuai.

Objective: The objective of this systematic literature review is to examine the effectiveness of neuropsychological interventions in the form of hemispheric stimulation based on the Balance Model Bakker theory in improving the reading ability of children and adolescents with developmental dyslexia in the transparent orthography domain. This research is important to study because an understanding of hemispheric stimulation interventions can help clinical psychologists determine recommendations for alternative interventions that are more effective or provide referrals that meet the needs of children and adolescents with developmental dyslexia. Quick treatment is important because dyslexia which doesn't get better can increase depression. This research fills in a section that has not received much attention, namely the effectiveness of compatibility between types of dyslexia with the interventions given, the orthographic domain, and the flexibility of the settings for implementing the intervention. Method: The databases that are the source of this Systematic Literature Review include Scopus, Google Scholar, EBSCOhost, Jstore, Pubmed, ProQuest, and ScienceDirect. The study search results were obtained in 7 out of 255 research journals with predetermined topics. The studies in this research were analyzed by employing narrative review. Results: Hemispheric stimulation intervention based on the Balance Model Bakker theory can improve reading accuracy, reading speed, and phonemic awareness. Giving a stimulus that involves rhythm and music has the potential to increase the engagement and motivation of participants in participating in the intervention so that improvement occurs quickly. The number of the most effective intervention sessions was 18 sessions. Conclusion: Research studies show that the factors that influence the effectiveness of interventions are the accuracy of the assessment in determining the type of dyslexia experienced by children and adolescents, so that appropriate hemispheric stimulation can be provided.
