Komunikasi Pemerintah dalam Diseminasi Informasi Akurat Covid-19 pada Masa PPKM Darurat Level 4 di Kabupaten Klaten

Permasalahan yang diakibatkan oleh pandemi COVID-19 tidak hanya pada dampak Virus Corona saja tetapi juga pada banjirnya informasi akibat dari perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Fenomena Banjirnya informasi ini disebut sebagai infodemic. Situasi ini cenderung lebih berbahaya karena memungkinkan informasi salah beredar. Masyarakat menjadi sulit memilah informasi yang benar. Kondisi ini dapat menimbulkan kecemasan, kepanikan, dan terhambatnya penanganan COVID-19. Kebutuhan informasi yang akurat menjadi suatu hal yang utama untuk dapat mengatasi pandemi COVID-19. Masyarakat membutuhkan informasi yang akurat agar nantinya dapat menolong diri sendiri dan lingkungannya. Pemerintah sebagai pemilik dan pembuat kebijakan memiliki peran strategis untuk melakukan komunikasi dalam diseminasi informasi akurat COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif deskriptif. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja yaitu di Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komunikasi pemerintah dalam diseminasi informasi akurat COVID-19 di masa PPKM Darurat Level 4. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penyiapan informasi dilakukan dengan pemetaan informasi, pengelompokkan jenis informasi, penerapan kriteria informasi akurat, dan penentuan konsep informasi. Proses komunikasi dilakukan berdasar jenis informasi yang dirumuskan melalui koordinasi dan kolaborasi. Proses komunikasi dalam merumuskan informasi publik berkaitan dengan situasi harus dilakukan dengan koordinasi. Upaya diseminasi informasi akurat dalam penanganan infodemic adalah dengan mendekatkan informasi melalui opinion leader dan media yang familiar dengan masyarakat.

The problems that occur during the Pandemic are not only about the impact of the Corona Virus itself, but also the exposure of information as a result of the development of information and communication technology. This situation becomes even more dangerous as it allows misinformation to circulate. This situation cause people might find it difficult to sort out the correct information, causing anxiety, panic, and delays in handling COVID-19. The need for accurate information is the main thing to be able to handle the COVID-19 Pandemic. People need accurate information in order to help themselves and their environment. Government as the policy owner and maker has a strategic role to communicate in the dissemination of accurate COVID-19 information. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The research location was chosen purposively, in Klaten Regency. This study aims to analyze the government communication in disseminating accurate COVID-19 information during the PPKM Darurat Level 4 period. The result of this research is that information preparation is carried out by: mapping the information, grouping the types of information, applying accurate information criteria, and determining the concept of information. The communication process is carried out based on the type of information through coordination and collaboration. The communication process in processing public information related to the situation must be carried out with coordination. The efforts to disseminate accurate information in handling the infodemic is to bring information closer through opinion leaders and the media, which are familiar to the public.
