Data statistik kriminal DKI Jakarta sangat berguna sebagai dasar penyusunan rencana pembangunan sektor di bidang keamanan dan ketertiban umum serta pembangunan nasional sehingga data ini penting untuk didiseminasikan. Data tersebut dapat didiseminasikan dengan cara pembuatan peta dengan simbol kuantitatif dalam bentuk simbol titik, simbol proporsional dan simbol bertingkat. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah memvisualisasikan data jumlah kejahatan pelanggaran kamtibnas dengan simbol titik dalam bentuk Peta Jumlah Kejadian Kejahatan DKI Jakarta Tahun 2020 dan mengkaji efektivitas dan efisiensi peta dalam menyajikan data jumlah kejahatan pelanggaran kamtibnas menggunakan simbol titik. Metode yang digunakan adalah membuat peta secara digital sehingga menerapkan teknologi serta mengintegrasikan dengan ilmu kaidah kartografi. Serta menggunakan metode kuisioner daring (google form) sebagai media untuk melakukan evaluasi. Berdasarkan uji Anova : Single Factor , antara peta simbol titik (dot maps) , peta simbol proporsional (proportional symbols maps) dan peta simbol bertingkat (graduated symbols maps) diperoleh hasil nilai p-value sebesar 0,190093 yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara ketiga peta tersebut dimana hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 80% pengguna peta menilai bahwa peta dengan simbol titik bertingkat (graduated symbols maps) merupakan peta yang paling mudah digunakan. Peta dengan simbol titik bertingkat (graduated symbols maps) paling efektif untuk memberikan informasi banyaknya jumlah kejadian kejahatan, peta dengan simbol titik (dot maps) paling efektif untuk memberikan informasi distribusi spasial kejadian kejahatan dan peta dengan simbol proporsional (proportional symbols maps) paling efektif untuk memberikan informasi perbandingan jumlah kejadian kejahatan antar wilayah

The data can be disseminated by making maps with quantitative symbols in the form of point symbols, proportional symbols and stratified symbols. The purpose of this research is to visualize the data on the number of crimes against the National Security and National Security Command with a dot symbol in the form of a Map of the Number of Crime Events in DKI Jakarta in 2020 and to examine the effectiveness and efficiency of the map in presenting data on the number of crimes against the National Security and Security Affairs using the dot symbol. The method used is to create a digital map so as to apply technology and integrate it with the science of cartographic principles. As well as using an online questionnaire method (google form) as a medium for conducting evaluations. Based on the ANOVA test: Single Factor, between dot maps, proportional symbols maps and graduated symbol maps, the p-value of 0.190093 shows that there is no significant difference. between the three maps where the results of this study indicate that more than 80% of map users consider that maps with graduated symbols maps are the easiest maps to use. Maps with graduated symbols maps are the most effective for providing information on the number of crime incidents, maps with dot symbols are the most effective for providing information on the spatial distribution of crime events and maps with proportional symbols maps are most effective for provide information on the comparison of the number of crime incidents between regions
