SYAIR SANG KUPU-KUPU DENGAN KEMBANG DAN BALANG: ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA RIFFATERRE

SSKKB termasuk dalam syair simbolik yang menceritakan percintaan Kupu-kupu, Kembang, dan Belalang. Naskah SSKKB tersimpan di Perpustakaan Nasional Indonesia dengan nomor ML.255. Teks yang diteliti ialah teks SSKKB yang telah ditransliterasi oleh Proyek Pengembangan Media Kebudayaan dalam Antologi Syair Simbolik dalam Sastra Indonesia Lama pada tahun 1980. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan simbol dan makna syair sehingga diteliti menggunakan teori semiotika Riffaterre. Objek material penelitian ialah teks SSKKB, sedangkan objek formal penelitian ialah kajian semiotika Riffaterre. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik kepustakaan. Berdasarkan pembacaan heuristik, teks SSKKB menggunakan kosakata bahasa Melayu dan kosakata serapan dari bahasa Arab. Berdasarkan pembacaan hermeneutik, SSKKB menggunakan tokoh-tokoh hewan sebagai simbol sifat buruk manusia untuk menyampaikan amanat. Matriks dalam SSKKB ialah karma perbuatan. Matriks tersebut dikembangkan melalui model penderitaan yang kemudian ditunjukkan melalui varian-varian peristiwa yang dialami tokoh. Hipogram potensial SSKKB ialah untuk menyindir lelaki yang tidak setia kepada pasangannya. Teks SSKKB memiliki hubungan intertekstual dengan Syair Kupu-kupu, Syair Siti Zawiyah, Syair Raja Tedung dan Raja Katak, dan Syair Patut Delapan.

SSKKB is included in a symbolic poem that tells about the love of a Butterfly, Flower, and Grasshopper. The SSKKB manuscript is stored in the Indonesian National Library with the number ML.255. The text studied is the SSKKB text which has been transliterated by the Cultural Media Development Project in the Anthology of Symbolic Poetry in Old Indonesian Literature in 1980. This study aims to reveal the symbols and meanings of poetry so that they are examined using Riffaterre's semiotic theory. The object of the research material is the SSKKB text, while the formal object of the research is Riffaterre's semiotic study. The research was conducted using descriptive analysis method. The data in the study were obtained by library techniques. Based on the heuristic reading, the SSKKB text uses Malay vocabulary and absorption vocabulary from Arabic. Based on the hermeneutic reading, the SSKKB uses animal figures as symbols of human vices to convey the message. The matrix in the SSKKB is action karma. The matrix is developed through a model of suffering which is then shown through the variants of events experienced by the characters. SSKKB's potential hypogram is to insinuate men who are unfaithful to their partners. The SSKKB text has an intertextual relationship with the Butterfly Poem, Siti Zawiyah's Poem, the Poem of King Snake and the King of Frogs, and the Poem of Patut Eight.
