Hubungan Sektor Unggulan Terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Sebelum Dan Saat Pandemi Covid-19

Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan resesi ekonomi yang berdampak kepada tenaga kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah identifikasi sektor unggulan dan ketenagakerjaan berdasarkan lapangan usaha serta menganalisis hubungan antara keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif pada Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan Angkatan Kerja di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DI. Yogyakarta) dengan empat teknik analisis. Pertama adalah Analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dan Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) dalam mencari sektor unggulan. Kedua adalah Klasifikasi Serapan Tenaga Kerja untuk mengetahui serapan tenaga kerja dari suatu lapangan usaha. Ketiga yaitu tabulasi silang untuk menghubungkan variabel sektor unggulan dan serapan tenaga kerja. Keempat adalah elastisitas kesempatan kerja untuk mengukur kesempatan kerja suatu sektor yang tercipta akibat pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat delapan sektor unggulan di Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta

COVID-19 causes an economic recession that affected employment. This study aims to identify leading sectors and employment based on sectors and analyze the relationship between them. This research uses quantitative analysis of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the Labor Force in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province with four analytical techniques. The first is the Location Quotient (LQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis to find the leading sectors. Second is the Classification of Labor Absorption to determine the absorption of labor from the sectors. Third is cross tabulation to connect the leading sector and labor absorption variables. Fourth is the elasticity of employment to measure the employment of a sector made by economic growth. This research showed that there were eight leading sectors in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province
