Analisis kehandalan sistem keselamatan radiasi mesin berkas elektron 2 MeV/10 mA di P3TIR-BATAN Jakarta

2003 | Tesis | S2 Magister Rekayasa Keselamatan IndustriTelah dilakukan suatu penelitian untuk mendapatkan nilai kehandalan dari sistem keselamatan radiasi mesin berkas elektron 2 MeV/10 mA di Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Isotop dan Radiasi - BATAN Jakarta. Perhitungan nilai kehandalan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis pohon kegagalan (Fault Tree Analysis/FTA) dan memakai program komputer Isigi Ver. 1.1 dengan asumsi waktu (t) = 400 jam. Tahap-tahap penelitian meliputi kegiatan-kegiatan berikut: mempelajari mesin berkas elektron, spesifikasi gedung MBE, sistem keselamatan, potensi bahaya mesin berkas elektron dan analisis sistem. Analisis dilakukan dengan cara membuat pohon kegagalan terhadap sistem keselamatan radiasi mesin berkas elektron 2 MeV/10 mA berdasarkan data pengamatan di lapangan dan studi literatur baik berupa gambar maupun referensi-referensi yang tersedia, seperti data log book dan materi diklat operator. Di samping itu juga diadakan wawancara dengan operator. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa nilai kehandalan sistem keselamatan radiasi ini adalah 997.25E-03. Dari nilai kehandalan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem keselamatan radiasi dari mesin berkas elektron 2 MeV/10 mA di Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Isotop dan Radiasi - BATAN Jakarta masih sangat aman dan fasilitas tersebut masih layak untuk dioperasikan.
A research on reliability value of Radiation Safety System of Electron Beam Machine 2 MeV/10 mA in Center for Research and Development of Isotopes and Radiation Technology, National Nuclear Energy Agency Jakarta, has been done. The analysis of reliability value is conducted by using Fault Tree Analysis method and employing Isigi ver. 1.1 code. It is assumed that the time duration to be 400 hours. The research include some steps such as: learning electron beam machine, electron beam machine building specification, safety system, hazard potential of electron beam machine, and analysis. The analysis is performed by developing fault tree analysis on radiation safety system of electron beam machine 2 Mev/10 mA based on observation and literature study, such as technical drawing and references like log book and operator training materials. In addition to that, interview with operator is also conducted. From this research, reliability value of radiation safety system is 997.25E- 03. From the above value, it is concluded that radiation safety system of electron beam machine 2 MeV/10 mA in Center for Research and Development of Isotopes and Radiation Technology, National Nuclear Energy Agency Jakarta is still safe and the facilities is still feasible to be operated.
