Pengaruh Kompetensi Kewirausahaan Petani Milenial terhadap Kinerja Usaha Tani Padi Organik di Kabupaten Boyolali

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui: (1) tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan petani milenial berpendidikan rendah dan tinggi serta faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan petani milenial; (2) tingkat kinerja petani milenial berpendidikan rendah dan tinggi terhadap usaha tani padi organik; (3) pengaruh kompetensi kewirausahaan, karakteristik individu, karakteristik kewirausahaan dan modal sosial terhadap kinerja usaha tani padi organik di Kabupaten Boyolali. Penelitian ini menggunakan data responden berjumlah 44 petani milenial padi organik yang diambil pada bulan Desember 2021 hingga bulan Januari 2022 di Kabupaten Boyolali menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan dan kinerja usaha tani adalah perhitungan persentase skor jawaban responden yang diklasifikasikan berdasarkan lima kategori skor (sangat rendah, rendah, sedang, tinggi dan sangat tinggi). Pengaruh antarvariabel dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS (Partial Least Square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan petani milenial yang berpendidikan rendah ataupun tinggi termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Lebih lanjut, faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan petani milenial secara positif dan signifikan adalah karakteristik individu, karakteristik kewirausahaan dan modal sosial; (2) tingkat kinerja petani milenial yang berpendidikan rendah ataupun tinggi terhadap usaha tani padi organik termasuk dalam ketegori tinggi; (3) kompetensi kewirausahaan dan modal sosial petani milenial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat kinerja usaha tani padi organik. Sedangkan, karakteristik individu dan karakteristik kewirausahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha tani padi organik.

The aims of this research are to determine: (1) the level of entrepreneurship competence of millennial farmers who have low and high education and the factors that influence the level of entrepreneurship competence of millennial farmers; (2) the level of performance of millennial farmers who have low and high education on organic rice farming; (3) the influence of entrepreneurship competence, individual characteristics, entrepreneurship characteristics and social capital toward the performance of organic rice farming in Boyolali Regency. This research uses respondent data of 44 millennial organic rice farmers taken from December 2021 to January 2022 in Boyolali Regency using the purposive sampling method. The basic method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. Analysis of the data used to determine the level of entrepreneurship competence and farm performance is the calculation of the percentage score of respondent's answers which are classified based on five categories of scores (very low, low, medium, high and very high). The influence between variables was analyzed by SEM-PLS (Partial Least Square). The results showed: (1) the entrepreneurship competence level of millennial farmers who have low or high education was categorized as high. Furthermore, the factors that positively and significantly affect the entrepreneurship competence level of millennial farmers are individual characteristics, entrepreneurship characteristics and social capital; (2) the level of performance of millennial farmers who have low or high education on organic rice farming was categorized as high; (3) entrepreneurship competence and social capital of millennial farmers have a positive and significant effect on the level of performance of organic rice farming. Meanwhile, individual characteristics and entrepreneurship characteristics have no significant effect on the performance of organic rice farming.
