Perencanaan Hotel Resort di Pantai Lampuuk Aceh Besar dengan Pendekatan Critical Regionalism

Aceh merupakan Provinsi terluar bagian barat Indonesia. Daerah ini memiliki beragam kekayaan alam, budaya, dan kuliner yang kuat. Namun hal tersebut berbanding terbalik dengan keadaan ekonomi masyarakat Aceh. Aceh tercata menjadi provinsi termiskin di Sumatera. Bangunan Resort merupakan tipologi yang seusai dan dapat menyelesaikan isu dan masalah tersebut. Namun, Resort saja tentu belum dapat mengangkat keunikan Aceh. Diperlukan pendekatan yang mengikuti zeitgeist namun tidak melupakan akar daerah. Maka pendekatan Critical Regionalism dipilih untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan- permaslahan yang disebutkan di atas

Aceh is the outermost province of western Indonesia. This area has a variety of natural, cultural, and culinary riches that are strong and unique. However, this is inversely proportional to the economic situationof the Acehnese people. Aceh is listed as the poorest province in Sumatera. Resort building is an appropriate typology and can solve these issues and problems. However, the resort alone of course will not be able to lift the uniqueness of Aceh. An approach that is in accordance to the zeitgeist but still rooted to the local aspect is needed to offspring a building that is intimate to the site but modern. So the Critical Regionalism approach was chosen to mediate all the problems mentioned above.
