Pembuatan Peta Skematik dan Story Maps Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Semarang

Kota Semarang merupakan salah satu kota di Indonesia dengan jumlah penduduk terbanyak. Kepadatan penduduk yang terjadi mengakibatkan Kota Semarang terus berkembang termasuk dalam perkembangan fasilitas transportasi. Hal ini menyebabkan pemerintah Kota Semarang melalui Badan Layanan Umum Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (BLU UPTD) Trans Semarang menyediakan transportasi umum berupa Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Semarang untuk menunjang mobilisasi masyarakat Semarang. BRT Trans Semarang hingga saat ini menyediakan 17 koridor yang tersebar di wilayah Kota Semarang dan Kota Ungaran. Koridor tersebut terbagi menjadi 8 koridor utama, 1 koridor khusus, dan 8 koridor pengumpan. Selaku pengelola BRT, BLU UPTD Trans Semarang menyediakan peta jaringan transportasi Semarang dan peta online view only. Peta yang disediakan tidak dapat digunakan secara interaktif oleh pengguna. Pembuatan peta interaktif sangat dibutuhkan untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam mengetahui informasi rute BRT Trans Semarang. Peta dibuat dalam bentuk peta skematik yang disajikan menggunakan platform story maps. Peta ini dilengkapi dengan informasi daerah layanan Halte serta titik fasilitas umum dan tempat wisata di sekitarnya. Proses pembuatan peta skematik dan peta daerah layanan memerlukan data titik Halte dan rute BRT Trans Semarang yang didapatkan melalui proses digitasi dengan acuan peta jaringan transportasi Semarang. Proses skematisasi rute dilakukan dengan penyederhanaan rute asli BRT dengan memperhatikan sudut istimewa dan dibantu dengan grid. Sementara pencarian daerah layanan Halte menggunakan service area analysis berdasarkan jarak sejauh 100, 200, 300 meter. Seluruh hasil, kemudian diunggah ke ArcGIS Online untuk dibuat web map-nya. Hasil web map disajikan menggunakan story maps dan ditambahkan dengan media pendukung. Hasil dari kegiatan aplikatif ini berupa story maps collection BRT Trans Semarang yang berisi story maps peta skematik rute BRT Trans Semarang dan story maps daerah layanan Halte BRT Trans Semarang. Peta skematik rute BRT Trans Semarang memuat titik Halte BRT, rute semua koridor BRT serta titik fasilitas umum dan tempat wisata di sekitar Halte. Berkaitan hasil kegiatan aplikatif ini, dilakukan uji kegunaan yang menunjukkan web map dan story maps memiliki nilai kegunaan rata-rata diatas 3. Hal ini berarti responden cukup setuju terkait kebergunaan story maps dan web map yang dibuat berdasarkan aspek 5Es.

Semarang City is one of the cities in Indonesia with the largest population. The population density has resulted in the city of Semarang continuing to grow, including the development of transportation facilities. This caused the Semarang City government through the Public Service Agency of the Trans Semarang Technical Implementation Unit (BLU UPTD) to provide public transportation in the form of the Trans Semarang Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) to support the mobilization of the Semarang community. To date, the Trans Semarang BRT provides 17 corridors spread across the Semarang City and Ungaran City areas. The corridor is divided into 8 main corridors, 1 special corridor, and 8 feeder corridors. As the manager of the BRT, BLU UPTD Trans Semarang provides a map of the Semarang transportation network and an online view only map. The map provided cannot be used interactively by the user. Making interactive maps is needed to make it easier for users to find information about the Trans Semarang BRT route. The map is made in the form of a schematic map which is presented using the story maps platform. This map is equipped with information on the service area of the bus stop along with the points of public facilities and tourist attractions around it. The process of making schematic maps and service area maps requires data on bus stops and Trans Semarang BRT routes which are obtained through a digitization process with reference to the Semarang transportation network map. The route schematization process is carried out by simplifying the original BRT route by paying attention to special angles and assisted by a grid. While the search for the bus stop service area uses service area analysis based on distances of 100, 200, 300 meters. All results are then uploaded to ArcGIS Online to create a web map. The results of the web map are presented using story maps and added with supporting media. The results of this applicative activity are a story maps collection of the Trans Semarang BRT. The Story maps collection contains story maps of the schematic map of the Trans Semarang BRT route and story maps of the Trans Semarang BRT bus stop service area. The schematic map of the Trans Semarang BRT route contains BRT stop points, all BRT corridors with points of public facilities and tourist attractions around the bus stop. Regarding the results of this applicative activity, a usability test was conducted. The test showed that web maps and story maps had an average usability value above 3. That means that respondents quite agree regarding the usefulness of story maps and web maps based on the 5Es aspect.
