Kualitas Hidup pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2: Systematic Review

Diabetes mempengaruhi kualitas hidup individu yang mengarah ke morbiditas dan kematian dini. Salah satu tujuan terapi utama pasien DMT2 adalah peningkatan kualitas hidup, sehingga kualitas hidup pasien DMT2 penting untuk diteliti karena dampaknya signifikan terhadap progresivitas penyakit dan keberhasilan terapi. Tujuan dari review ini adalah melihat gambaran kualitas hidup dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya pada pasien DMT2 dengan metode systematic review. Sumber data diperoleh dari penelusuran artikel pada tiga database elektronik, yaitu PubMed, Scopus, dan Google Scholar. Kriteria inklusi adalah artikel yang membahas mengenai kualitas hidup terkait kesehatan pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2, original research, tahun publikasi 2012-2022, full text, dan berbahasa inggris. Review ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi adalah sebanyak 15 artikel. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah EQ-5D, SF-36, WHOQoL-BREF, dan DQoL. Hasil review menunjukkan rentang skor qol pada instrumen EQ-5D (0,64-0,93), EQ-VAS (56,8-76,34); SF-36 PCS (48,0-50,89), MCS (45,5-66,36); WHOQoL-BREF physical (21,86-66,6), psychological (18,34-70,9), social (8-75,96), environment (24,87-82,19); DQoL (38,1). Faktor klinis, sosiodemografi dan gaya hidup dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien DMT2.

Diabetes affects an individual's quality of life leading to morbidity and premature death. One of the main goals of therapy for T2DM patients is to improve the quality of life, so the quality of life of T2DM patients is important to study because of its significant impact on disease progression and therapeutic success. The purpose of this review is to describe the quality of life and the factors that influence it in T2DM patients using a systematic review method. Sources of data were obtained from article searches on three electronic databases, namely PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Inclusion criteria are articles that discuss the quality of life related to the health of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, original research, publication years 2012-2022, full text, and in English. This review uses descriptive analysis. Articles that meet the inclusion criteria are 15 articles. The instruments used are EQ-5D, SF-36, WHOQoL-BREF, and DQoL. The results of the review show the range of qol scores on the EQ-5D (0.64-0.93), EQ-VAS (56.8-76.34); SF-36 PCS (48.0-50.89), MCS (45.5-66.36); WHOQoL-BREF physical (21.86-66.6), psychological (18.34-70.9), social (8-75.96), environment (24.87-82.19); DQoL (38,1). Clinical, sociodemographic and lifestyle factors can affect the quality of life of T2DM patients.
