penelitian ini memberikan bukti baru mengenai efek kenaikan upah minimum pada tenaga kerja formal berpendidikan rendah yang mebahas non-employment outcomes seperti halnya kondisi kesehatan dari pekerja di Indonesia. studi ini menyelidiki dampak kenaikan upah minimum provinsi yang disebabkan oleh perubahan komponen Kebutuhan Hidup Layak (KHL) dalam Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Nomor 13 tahun 2012 pada kondisi kesehatan pekerja yang dilaporkan sendiri di Indonesia. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan upah minimum akibat kebijakan perubahan komponen KHL berkorelasi positif dengan kondisi kesehatan fisik pekerja yang makin baik, hal tersebut ditunjukan melalui pelaporan kondisi kesehatan fisik secara umum.

This study provides new evidence regarding the effect of minimum wage increases on formal workers with low education which discusses non-employment outcomes as well as the health conditions of workers in Indonesia. This study investigates the impact of the increase in the provincial minimum wage (UMP) caused by changes in the Decent Living Needs component (KHL) in the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Regulation No. 13 of 2012 on the health conditions of self-reported workers in Indonesia. The findings in this study indicate that the increase in the minimum wage due to the policy of changing the KHL component is positively correlated with the improved physical health condition of workers, this is shown through the reporting of physical health conditions in general.
