Kinerja Induk Kelinci Rex Yang Disilangkan Dengan Pejantan New Zealand White

2022 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja induk kelinci Rex yang disilangkan dengan pejantan New Zealand White (NZW). Penelitian menggunakan 6 ekor induk kelinci Rex, 1 ekor pejantan Rex, dan 1 ekor pejantan NZW. Induk kelinci dibagi secara acak dalam dua kelompok yaitu induk Rex yang dikawinkan dengan pejantan NZW dan induk Rex yang dikawinkan dengan pejantan Rex. Induk kelinci dipelihara secara individu. Perkawinan kelinci dilakukan dengan cara induk kelinci dimasukkan ke kandang pejantan sampai terjadi perkawinan. Setelah terjadi perkawinan induk dikembalikan ke kandang awal sampai melahirkan. Pemeliharaan dilakukan sampai induk melahirkan kembali. Data yang diambil meliputi lama bunting, bobot lahir, bobot sapih, litter size, post partum mating (PPM), interval kelahiran, mortalitas, indeks reproduksi induk (IRI), dan indeks produktivitas induk (IPI). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode One Way Analysis of variance. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lama bunting, bobot lahir anak, bobot total lahir, bobot sapih anak, bobot total sapih, litter size, PPM, interval kelahiran, mortalitas, IRI, dan IPI induk kelinci Rex yang dikawinkan dengan pejantan NZW dan pejantan Rex berturut-turut masing-masing adalah 31,67+-2,08 dan 31,67+-0,58 hari, 55,30+-9,12 dan 44,18+-7,64 g, 246,00+-96,20 dan 185,67+-83,27 g, 400,20+-10,10 dan 333,76+-71,46 g, 1732,33+-455,86 dan 1357,67+-462,34 g, 6,00+-1,73 dan 6,00+-2,00 ekor, 36,00+-1,73 dan 37,33+-6,03 hari, 68,00+-1,73 dan 69,00+-5,00 hari, 25,83+-22,41 dan 29,17+-19,09%, 23,22+-5,98 dan 22,98+-12,22 ekor/tahun, dan 9,28+-2,33 dan 7,23+-2,56 kg/induk/tahun. Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada lama bunting, bobot lahir, bobot sapih, litter size, mortalitas, interval kelahiran, PPM, IRI, dan IPI. Disimpulkan bahwa induk kelinci Rex dikawin silangkan dengan pejantan NZW tidak mempengaruhi kinerja induk.
The aim of this study was to observed the reproductive performance of rabbits does which were crossed with New Zealand White (NZW) rabbit buck. As many as 6 heads of rex rabbit does, 1 heads of NZW buck, and 1 heads of Rex buck were use in this study. The rabbits does were randomly divided into two groups. First group were mated which NZW buck and the second one were mated which Rex buck as control. The does was kept into the individual cage. Mating was done by puting the does into the buck cage. After mating, the does was returned into the does cage. The does was raised until give birth. The data collecteed included gestation length, birth weight, total of birth weight, weaning weight, total of weaning weight, litter size, mortality, calving interval, post partum mating (PPM), does reproduction index (DRI), and does production index (DPI). The data was analyzed using one way analysis of varience. The results showed that gestation length, birth weight, total of birth weight, weaning weight, total of weaning weight, litter size, pre weaning mortality, calving interval, PPM, (DRI), and (DPI) of buck which were mated with NZW and Rex buck were 31.67+-2.08 and 31.67+-0.58 days, 55.30+-9.12 and 44.18+-7.64 g, 246.00+-96.20 and 185.67+-83.27 g, 40020+-10.10 and 333.76+-71.46 g, 1732.33+-455.86 and 1357.67+-462.34 g, 6.00+-1.73 and 6.00+-2.00 heads, 25.83+-22.41 and 29.17+-19.09%, 68.00+-1.73 and 69.00+-5.00 days, 36.00+-1.73 and 37.33+-6.03 days, 23.22+-5.98 and 22.98+-12.22 head/year, and 9.28+-2.33 and 7.23+-2.56 kg/dam/year, respectively. Theres no significant different gestation length, birth weight, total of birth weight, weaning weight, total of weaning weight, litter size, mortality, calving interval, PPM, DRI, and DPI between them. It is concluded that Rex rabbits does crossing with NZW rabbit buck doesnt effect their reproductive performance.
