Self Neurotic Pada Pengguna Akun Alter Twitter

Media sosial pada remaja memberikan kompleksitas baru pada pembentukan identitas diri remaja ilmu psikologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami proses pembentukan Identitas diri pada remaja yang menggunakan akun alter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang (2 perempuan dan 1 laki-laki). Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkan ada tiga komponen self yang muncul sebagai aspek pembentukan identitas diri daring yaitu, self image, Self Neurotic dan True self. Self Neurotic bagi pengguna akun alter menjadi pemisahan diri bagi identitas remaja yang tidak sesuai norma sehingga membentuk dunia fantasi melalui akun alter. Diri neurotik "terpecah", menjadi diri yang dibenci dan diri yang ideal. Diri neurotik berayun bolak-balik antara membenci diri sendiri dan berpura-pura menjadi sempurna. Fenomena akun alter twitter merupakan subkultur global yang terbentuk sebagai akibat adanya media sosial yang memberikan kebebasan para penggunanya. Akun alter secara halus masuk dalam area yang membentuk konsep diri remaja tanpa melibatkan realitas sosial masyarakat dan agama.

Social media in adolescents gives a new complexity to the formation of adolescent self-identity in psychology. The purpose of this study is to understand the process of identity formation in adolescents who use alter accounts. The research method used is phenomenological qualitative research. Respondents in this study found 3 people (2 women and 1 man). The results of this study indicate that there are three components of self that emerge as aspects of the formation of a courageous self-identity, namely, self-image, Self Neurotic and True self. Self Neurotic for alter account users becomes a separation for teenagers' identities that are not in accordance with the norm so that they form a fantasy world through alter accounts. The neurotic self "splits," into the hated self and the ideal self. The neurotic self swings back and forth between self-hatred and pretending to be perfect. The phenomenon of alter twitter account is a global subculture that is formed as a result of social media that gives freedom to its users. Accounts change subtly into areas that form adolescent self-concepts without involving the social realities of society and religion.
