Pengalaman Liburan sebagai Simbol Kesetaraan: Justifikasi Kerelawanan di Program Ferie for Alle dari Rode Kors.

Ferie for Alle merupakan program kerelawanan dari organisasi red cross. Adanya program tersebut ditujukan untuk memberikan pengalaman liburan bagi anak kecil dan keluarga dengan kemampuan finansial rendah di Norwegia. Adanya program tersebut bergantung oleh kehadiran relawan. Pasalnya, Implementasi praktek Ferie for Alle dijalankan oleh relawan, dari mulai merancang hingga memandu aktivitas-aktivitas selama perjalanan liburan. Memandang integralnya konsep kesejahteraan di Negara Norwegia, posisi program Ferie for Alle menjadi menarik karena mengkarakterisasi liburan sebagai sebuah komoditas kesejahteraan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap justifikasi kerelawanan di Ferie for Alle dalam hubunganya dengan penyediaan akses gratis terhadap pengalaman liburan di Norwegia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-struktur dengan pertanyaan terbuka. Selain itu, pengumpulan data juga melibatkan partispasi observasi dimana peneliti ikut dalam salah satu perjalanan liburan Ferie for Alle. Data dianalisis melalui metode naratif dan etnografis. Analisis naratif dilakukan untuk mengetahui justifikasi kerelawanan, sedangkan analisis etnografis dilakukan untuk menyambungkan narasi kerelawanan dengan situasi sosial dan unsur-unsur kebudayaan Norwegia. Hasil dari penelitian menemukan bahwa justifikasi kerelawanan merupakan konsepsi ideal mengenai kesejahteraan di Norwegia. Hal itu muncul dari gagasan-gagasan relawan mengenai relevansi Ferie for Alle dalam kerangka kesejahteraan di Norwegia. Secara spesifik gagasan kesejahteraan mengacu pada penalaran akan bagaimana penyediaan liburan dianggap sebagai simbol dari kesetaraan sosial. Pasalnya, pengalaman liburan dianggap sebagai identitas kewargaan di Norwegia. Justifikasi kerelawanan hadir dalam mekanisme yang komplementer seiring dikendarai oleh pandangan relawan akan ketimpangan sosial yang semakin meningkat di Norwegia dan pentingnya menanggulangi tersebut atas pengaruh dari wacana investasi sosial dan nilai Negara kesejahteraan di Norwegia.

Ferie for Alle is a volunteer-based program from the Rode Kors organization. The program is intended to provide holiday experiences for young children and families with low financial capabilities in Norway. The existence of the program depends on the presence of volunteers. This is because the implementation of the Ferie for Alle practices is carried out by volunteers, from creating to guiding activities during vacation trips. Considering how crucial the concept of welfare is in Norway, the position of the Ferie for Alle program becomes interesting as it characterizes holidays as a welfare commodity. Therefore, Therefore, this study aims to identify the justification for volunteering at Ferie for Alle concerning providing free access to holiday experiences in Norway. This study uses a qualitative method. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions. In addition, data collection also involves observation participation where the researcher participates in one of the Ferie for Alle vacation trips. Data were analyzed through narrative and ethnographic methods. Narrative analysis was conducted to determine the justification for volunteerism, while ethnographic analysis was conducted to connect the narrative of volunteerism with the social situation and Norwegian culture. The results of the study found that justification for volunteerism is an ideal conception of welfare in Norway. It emerged from the volunteers' ideas about the relevance of Ferie for Alle in the welfare framework of Norway. Specifically, the welfare ideas refers to the reasoning of how the provision of holidays is considered a symbol of social equality. Such circumstances are endorsed due to how holiday experience is regarded as a citizenship identity in Norway. The justification of volunteerism exists in a complementary mechanism as it is driven by the volunteer understanding of the growing social inequality in Norway and the importance of addressing it due to the influence of social investment discourse and welfare state values in Norway.
