KAJIAN BENTUK DAN MODEL STUP TERNAK LEBAH MADU KLANCENG (Tetragonula laeviceps) TERHADAP PRODUK MADU, BEE BREAD, DAN PROPOLIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas keluar dan masuk sarang lebah pekerja, produksi madu, propolis, bee bread lebah Tetragonula laeviceps Klanceng. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2020 sampai Februari 2021 di lahan Dusun Kalijeruk, Desa Widodomartani, Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Koloni lebah Klanceng yang berasal dari bambu dipindahkan ke sarang kotak dan kendil dan dibudidaya selama 3 bulan. Aktivitas keluar dan masuk sarang lebah pekerja dihitung selama 5 menit pengamatan. Produksi madu, propolis, dan bee bread diukur setelah dibudidaya selama 3 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produksi madu (4,65 sampai 5,33 g/sarang/3 bulan budidaya), bee bread (4,38 g/sarang/3 bulan budidaya), dan propolis (propolis dari pot madu berkisar 3,77 sampai 4,18 g/sarang/3 bulan dan propolis dari pot polen berkisar 4,44 sampai 4,90 g/sarang/3 bulan budidaya) lebah Klanceng pada sarang kotak dan kendil tidak berbeda. Aktivitas keluar dan masuk sarang lebah Klanceng pada pagi dan sore hari tidak berbeda. Aktivitas keluar dan masuk sarang lebah Klanceng pada sarang kotak dan kendil berkisar antara 9,20 sampai 13,71 kali/sarang/5 menit pengamatan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa produksi madu, bee bread, dan propolis lebah Klanceng tidak berbeda antara sarang kendil dan kotak.

The aimed this study was to determine the activity exit and entrance of the foragers, production of honey, bee bread, and propolis from stingless bee Klanceng. The study has been conducted in December 2020 to Februari 2021 in field of Dusun Kalijeruk, Widodomartani Village, Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Colonies from stingless bee Klanceng from bamboo which were moved to the hives of kendil and box and meliponiculture for 3 months. The activity of exit and entrance of foragers was counted for 5 minutes of observe. Production of honey, bee bread, and propolis were measured after meliponiculture for 3 months. The research showed that production of honey (4.65 to 5.33 g/hive/3 months), bee bread (4.33 to 4.38 g/hive/3 months), and propolis (propolis from honey pot of 3.77 to 4.18 g/hive/3 months and propolis from pollen pot of 4.44 to 4.90 g/hive/3 months) stingless bee Klanceng in hives of kendil and box were not differ. Exit and entrance activity of hive from stingless bee Klanceng in the morning and afternoon were not differ. The activity of exit and entrance hives of stingless bee Klanceng in the hives of kendil and box was ranging from 09,20 to 13,71 times/hive/5 minutes of observe. It can be concluded that the production of honey, pollen, and propolis from stingless bee Klanceng did not differ among the kendil and box hives.
