Pembangunan jalan tol pada dasarnya memiliki dua sisi pengaruh perubahan dalam pelaksanaannya, yaitu pengaruh positif dan pengaruh negatif. Pengaruh positif dalam pembangunan jalan tol dapat berupa kemudahan aksesibilitas masyarakat, dan peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat sekitar jalan tol. Sedangkan pengaruh negatif dapat berupa pengaruh terhadap kondisi sosial bisa berupa konflik sosial yang terjadi dimasyarakat hingga pengaruh terhadap lingkungan sekitar jalan tol. Pembangunan jalan tol Semarang-Solo seksi 5 yang menghubungkan antara Boyolali dan Kartosuro ini mengubah berbagai penggunaan lahan yang dilaluinya. Oleh sebab perubahan penggunaan lahan yang terjadi tersebut, memberikan pengaruh terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Tanjungsari, Desa Trayu, Desa Bangak, dan Desa Denggungan, Kecamatan Banyudono, Kabupaten Boyolali yang merupakan daerah-daerah yang dilalui oleh proyek pembangunan jalan tol. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh pembangunan jalan tol terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di keempat desa tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengaruh terhadap kondisi sosial dan kondisi ekonomi diketahui berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat dengan metode kuisioner dan wawancara mendalam. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan metode skala likert serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode kuartil. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pengaruh terhadap kondisi sosial berupa pengaruh terhadap konflik sosial, pengaruh terhadap partisipasi masyarakat, pengaruh terhadap interaksi masyarakat, dan pengaruh terhadap kesenjangan sosial. Sedangkan pengaruh ekonomi berupa pengaruh terhadap mata pencaharian, pengaruh terhadap pendapatan, dan pengaruh terhadap kesempatan kerja dan peluang usaha. Pengaruh jalan tol terhadap aspek aspek sosial di keempat desa lokasi penelitian secara umum tidak mengalami pengaruh negatif, kegiatan sosial masyarakat setempat tetap berjalan sebagaimana adanya baik sebelum maupun setelah pembangunan jalan tol. Sedangkan pengaruh terhadap kondisi ekonomi terdapat pengaruh negatif pada aspek pendapatan masyarakat, terutama petani yang banyak mengalami penurunan pendapatan setelah adanya jalan tol.

The construction of toll roads basically has two sides of the effect of changes in its implementation, namely positive and negative effects. The positive influence in the construction of toll roads can be in the form of ease of community accessibility, and an increase in the income of the community around the toll road. While the negative influence can be in the form of an influence on social conditions, it can be in the form of social conflicts that occur in the community to the influence on the environment around the toll road. The construction of the Semarang-Solo toll road section 5 which connects Boyolali and Kartosuro has changed the various land uses that it passes. Due to the changes in land use that occur, it has an impact on the social and economic conditions of the community. This research was conducted in Tanjungsari Village, Trayu Village, Bangak Village, and Denggungan Village, Banyudono District, Boyolali Regency, which are areas traversed by the toll road construction project. This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of toll road construction on the social and economic conditions of the people in the four villages. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The influence on social and economic conditions is known based on public perception by using questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The data obtained were processed using the Likert scale method and analyzed using the quartile method. The results obtained from this study are the effect on social conditions in the form of influence on social conflict, influence on community participation, influence on community interaction, and influence on social inequality. Meanwhile, the economic influence is in the form of influence on livelihood, influence on income, and influence on employment and business opportunities. The influence of toll roads on social aspects in the four research villages in general did not experience a negative impact, social activities of the local community continued as they were both before and after the construction of the toll road. While the influence on economic conditions has a negative influence on aspects of people's income, especially farmers who experience a lot of decline in income after the existence of the toll road.
